Erwan, there are no bonuses for balur units
There were some bonuses but this was a bug, but that was April 2017
These balur bonuses were stolen from our fortresses - https://prnt.sc/khig2o
You must remember that sending TOO MANY units will always create extra casualties
Send 2.5x balur strength will always kill 50% of your units (bg level makes no difference)
Sending 3x balur strength will always kill 40 % of your units
Sending overwhelming massive strength might eventually reduce your total loss (similar to pvp) but I have not seen any evidence of this yet
Sending the exact strength will always kill all of your units except ONE, and is the most economical method (unless you can weaken the bg and then send a zero-loss wave to finish the job)

The most economical method of doing BGs are to cook and send PFs, Reavers, Golems, and Chimeras. Don't cook anything else (except spies when necessary). Any units you obtain that you do not want, send those as well. Only send troops to BGs when there are worthy quests/events in progress.
BGs are morphing adapters. They exist to allow 4 beastie ovens instead of 1. The only way to do that is to send as many resources as possible to the BGs. The best way to do that is to cook the most resource intensive units and send them. Use the Obelisk of Power to max out the training speed of PFs, Reavers, Golems, and Chimeras. Max out your spy training speed as well so that when they're needed, you can train what you need as quickly as possible to allow a return to chimera baking ASAP.
Don't worry about troop loss in BGs. You're supposed to lose them. Its the only way to get those resources banked. If you want Griffins, send those units to Greens. If you want Dragons and Wyverns, send those units to the Reds.
If you haven't taken your BGs over 100 yet, don't.
