League activity is a new feature that was implemented on Facebook.
It's aimed at decreasing the number of inactive Leagues.

Beacon Massacre Event is an absolutely different feature, and many players like it as it gives a good opportunity to occupy enemy's Beacons.
As for the League Activity feature, devs are not planning to add it on plarium.com for now.
at this point, most big leagues can take a beacon with minimal loss. beacons are for the most part undefeated. no point in waiting for a massacre to take a beacon now, that just gives the victim a chance to revive defense.
