Can we all give a basic explanation of our estimates, for example?

• I can earn 4400-6500 sapphires from brawl each week. 
• My league normally rank 2nd or 3rd on PvP league tournament and 1st on BG tournament, that is 750-1500+2000 sapphires each week
• I can rank top 20 on PvP if I try, 2500-4500 sapphires. 

So I can make 6000 to 14500 each week. 

I never said I make 125k a week, but it's possible. 6 hamlets would give 18k a day. 540k a month. It's an extreme example, but it was possible on S3 about two years ago. Maybe not so much now. 

You are correct. In server 2 and server 3 it WAS possible to farm sapphires. And you don't have to heavily defend your hamlet. However, it has since become impossible to do that now. 

Also back then you will need at least 24hrs to empty a hamlet. 

Today with champions and Hamlets gathering speed offered by the Eagle nest, it has become possible to farm an entire Hamlets in about 9-15 hrs. The narrative that Hamlets are "fair game" between allies has made farming Hamlet impossible.
