Looks like the Duel is back the the original number of prizes required for now. I played reasonably hard over the last couple of days - about 1500 prizes were gained manually - and I ended up with about 900 emeralds more than I started with. That's without buying the 350 / 400 refresh package. Good to see the 7 Day hunt back. Pity there's still only 1 Orb on offer though.

I guess if the first reward for the next Duel is 200 energy, then it might be a sign that it's going to need 8500 prizes to finish.

And the prize drop rate seems to be holding up. 1.46 this time.

Yeah, the increase in prize drop rate is certainly helpful, especially for people who don't start right at the beginning of the event.

Yeah there was another massive change. Limad hit the mail on the head.

The bugged points drops got fixed.

The avg points per send should be 1. And with a lvl 40 champ and it's critical chance of 40%, that should increase by 0.4 per send. So in total using a top champ should have yielded 1.4 points per spend on average. In reality something was bugged and you only got around 0.9 per send.

That got fixed at the same time they changed the event around. You get the proper amount of points now.

Hello, DJ Moody! Actually, I replied to Constantin that it was easier to earn points on September 18th. You might have missed it. I don't know where you got your calculations, but our team had modified the drop rate a bit as part of the task of improving the tournament. Cheers!

So the correct way it should work (as stated in the event material):

So you should on average get just over one item (the first even was Pumpkins hence my reference to "Pumps") per undead.

You also get a bonus 1 item if you land a critical. So a lvl 40 in a solo hunt with a critical chance of 40% should get on average another 0.4 items per undead.

So it total you will get 1.48 items per undead (I rounded it to 1 and 1.4 in post above to keep it neat).

As players run solo hunts to complete the event, and solo hunt gives you the number of sends and the number of items, it's very easy to see what ratio you actually get from the game (the game is recording it for you). Also 7k sends to complete the event is a large sample, so it evens out the randomness of each drop.

There are many such hunt screenshots on the forum. I could probably dig out a load from our discord as ppl quite often post pictures of their hunts when they get a holy bond cause they are excited. Personally I ran the hunt hundreds of times (many events on many accounts).

The hunts clearly show the ratio of sends to points was consistently around 0.9.
