Linux users come in multiple levels: beginner, advanced and expert. But yes most, if not all, of them have advanced computer skills compared to Windows users. That doesn't mean we can do miracles. The newest banner makes it seem that, old browser and old flash or not, you won't be able to access your castle through anything but Plarium Play. Since they can't be bothered to make a Linux version of Plarium Play or let any of us do it, they should at least confirm that we can play with an old browser and old version of flash/pepperflash. And yes they should tell us if they are using an old kill switch free version of pepperflash or not.

Your talking about "programmers" who have tried twice to change from flash.  hahaha

I have tried to make the point above in my last couple of posts, but I think I need to be more blunt and clear about it.

It is no longer about the play app .. the issue is Adobe and their plan to kill flash!!

It is possible that Adobe is bluffing - but if we take Adobe at their word then at some point after 12th Jan 2021 - Adobe will blow up flash!! If they do - Windows, Mac OR Linux - there is NO workaround for this.

In the meantime - or at least until the 12th Jan - the solution I've outlined in this thread i.e. using firefox as a local installation will work for all Linux users inc. Chromebook users. The Play App is just a browser, stripped down to the bare-essentials with flash embedded... as long as the Play App works - so will a (flash-enabled) browser.

I can only repeat - it's NOT about the play app or browser anymore.. it's about Adobe and the supposed "kill switch" in flash. If Adobe carry out their threat and flip the switch - the clinically obese woman will sing "thanks for the memories and goodnight".
