I am sure there will be many players that will enjoy the new event and find it to be very rewarding .
As Many have not been able to obtain the higher Grade Champions until the recent new champion events of the past few months.
Now they can and with many having more time on their hands lately it will give them obtainable goals to work for if they choose.
As with all new features they are optional .
As for throwing shade On the game there are just some not happy unless they can complain
But don't think increasing the game events to provide orbs to all that play because the game is free to play is a sign of the end of days for the game.
What some call catch up should consider that not all players have a credit card that they use whenever they choose
So others now can catch up adding Orbs to The Champions bit By bit
And that 2 cents was worth the cost Limad

And some is seems that can't accept legitimate issue that people raise.
You end up flaming pretty much everyone that raises any problems. What is the point of the forum if it isn't for Plarium to get customer feedback. Listen to it and learn from it.
The fact the message is very negative just reflects how annoyed and unhappy the person who posted it felt at the time of writing. But your supposed to be unbiased and balanced enough to hear the underlying message and not react to the style of the post.
You surely you can see the OP has a point. This is a competitive wargame. When someone gets a massive advantage over you it matters. When they get that advantage over you through no fault of your own, arguably because you have played too well, expect those people to be pretty unhappy. Recyling the "it's optional" meme is extremely annoying.
On a side note, my own thought. There seems to be little consideration for balance to this event. Grade V orbs have been really difficult to obtain, nickle and diming them one at a time from duel events and now Weor events over months. Then suddenly 12 are thrown at people in one event. It's a very disproportionate reward and a strange choice..... not that the people getting the benefit will care I suspect.
I suspect Plarium are scrambling to add content to make the game more attractive now gaming usage is through the roof due to self-isolation. Some of the wrinkles are no doubt due to the speed the things are being turned out in. For that reason feedback is even more useful than ever, because things are much less likely to be right first time (especially as they might be doing things more quickly and with less staff). What Ydoom wrote is what i thought i wrote, but he said it a lot better. yes grade 5 orbs are almost impossible to get freely and when you do its one.
Not 3 for upgrading an orange (because you hadnt got around to it) or 6 or 9 or even 12 of them, thats an incredible advantage all because you hadnt gotten around to it or you just got an orange and other players got nothing for upgrading theirs. Yes its tremendous event if you hadnt been keeping up, but if you had been its a terrible event because i got nothing for upgrading my champs to 5 and 6 star, certainly not 3,6,9 or 12 level 5 orbs.
thank you ydoom
moderator, i know you have to toe the line towards the game, i mean heavens bells if you agree with an angry poster, but it is what it is
a ketchup event that really didnt have any place being made at this pointHaadaway. said:
VERY good event.. thank you Plarium... will put my hands this week on 15 orbs grade 5 wich are expensive items..and will cost me ...nothing..,because i always keep safe 15-20 champs of 5 stars and i always collect holy bonds and as well i keep in stock some of them;12 orbs from event, another 2 from champ duel and another 1 from weor event;could nt dream of that.
Hello My Lord, i'm glad to hear that you like a lot ! I agree is awesome to have this possibility to earn orbs grade IV and V !
I wish you good game and good battles !VERY good event.. thank you Plarium... will put my hands this week on 15 orbs grade 5 wich are expensive items..and will cost me ...nothing..,because i always keep safe 15-20 champs of 5 stars and i always collect holy bonds and as well i keep in stock some of them;12 orbs from event, another 2 from champ duel and another 1 from weor event;could nt dream of that.I usually save holy bonds for the guaranteed champ events, ended up opening a few of them this week to get the orbs though. 2/4 grade 5 without a guaranteed or 2x chance event isn't bad though :)
Don't you be hating on my hamlet def champ :P That's a good point though, might be a good idea to hang onto a couple orange 4 stars in case they run this event again.I'm not going to argue about the death cycle, but it's pretty unlikely that new players to the game (unless they spend tonnes of cash) are going to be able to make the most of this event. I guess it's the new normal. From now on, when you get a gold, take it to level 4 and wait for the next round of the event. It won't make any difference to the Tower, it'll still have 12550 killing power.
You should also consider that not every champ needs to be upgraded to the max level (orbs, enlightenment etc, I'm looking at you twice enlightened gold hamlet def champ!) So if you get a crappy duplicate, now you can sit on it.
20 Champs. Depending on your style of game play, once you've enlightened them i'd say about 50% of them are useless outside of the Tower event.
If a 2x event or a guaranteed champ event pops up this week, then it'll be useful to get a few orbs.
My 2 cents.
i dnt understand the argue here,or at least the reasoning behind it..
I LOVED THIS EVENT
prior to this event there was another,u opened epic bonds,u would receive a holy bond,
i did this ...
opened 30 epics, 3 holy bonds...
it was only natural !!! yes still saved 4 holy bonds for other events...
orbs usually have to be paid for by cash, got a werewolf from prior event and in next one upgraded it and received 4 orbs...
just for future references.. i opened 3 holy and 30 epics ,so nothing lost there as i received 3 holy agen...
and no i didnt spend ,i received these holies from tower(completing floor 100) and auto hunts..
so honestly there is no need to complain,if u didnt get orbs it mus be on u not the game or game design as it was perfect timing...
AND PERFECT TOURNAMENT, loved it

This is an EXTREMELY overpowered event. In one week you can earn what would take approx. half a year from completing all the duel events (or similarly completing all the Weor events).
Does this make many people happy. Of course it does, I am laughing my head off at the good fortune (on many many accounts).
BUT and this is a big but.....
There are going to be quite a few people tearing their hair out because they are highly active in training their Grade V's as they receive them, who won't have had anything to run this event with.
And they just have to sit and watch the rest of us catch a break that could equate to a 24% bonus to our army power over them. And the only thing they did wrong was to more actively train their Grade V's than the rest of us, to be surprised by an event none of us could have known was coming or prepared for.
So we have pretty randomly bestowed a massive advantage on some people and not others.
fURY said:

Actual there was something lost there as opening any holy's during that event was an incredibly bad use of Holy bonds (I can explain if you don't understand why).
Also to suggest that everybody really should have had a grade V due to that event is to not understand the maths. 42.5% of people who open 3 holy's would get no Grade V champ. So the prior week event in no way guarantees participation in this week's event. It's great it worked for you but you were lucky, nearly half of people wouldn't have got that luck.
Don't get me wrong I cleaned up in this event (probably took it for more than anyone else in the game). But if you can't see why another group of people will be bitterly disappointed then you are simply choosing to look at it only from your point of view.
this event is for games going down the dumper, i ve seen it almost every game ive played, when they start doing ketchup events, it means they now care more about the players coming into the game than they do about the current players who have already put into the game, and its usually a death cycleYet you will sign in every day won't you just like I will as I said some people just love to throw Shade

hello, i understand everything u have in mind..
no argue for those ...
my statement about not understanding the reasoning behind the argue was about the event itself..
there is always a first...an example ? Woerian Tournament.. in first one people claimed 4 times units than the rest...
sure as in that on,people werent ready for this one too..
but as wesley mentioned before the event itself was one of the greatest events game has ever patched..
people who dnt spend will also be able to claim orbs for which they normally have to pay...
there is this exact same argument on brawls.. some who dnt get the rewards every time for any reason want it to be once only in 2 weeks..just because they cant get the rewards every time.
im honestly happy that u got the full rewards..but in the end we all should accept the fact that noone will ever be able to claim every reward ever time
fURY said:

No - its not the same argument at all. It's pretty much the opposite argument.
Someone asking for bi-weekly brawl is asking for an event to be nerfed down to their activity level because other people are able to claim more rewards by playing harder (or possibly harder and smarter).
The Op here is pointing that they are in fact being penalised for having played the game more actively. They aren't asking for an easier to earn reward, they are asking for an event that is not impossible for them to participate in. And remember it's only impossible for them because they progressed more fully through the game because they didn't slack off on champ training (like me).
fURY said:

Only if they slacked off their champs. If they trained their champs heavily they would have been locked out of the event completely.
In fact coiners are more likely to be able to benefit. They spend more on bonds, they have more Grade V's, more likely they have untrained Grade V's lying around. F2P will have very few Grade V's and are quite likely to have already fully trained the ones they have as a result.
I cleaned up on this event. I loved it. But I can't sit here and say it was a "fair" event. It is completely random and arbitrary about who it showers with massive rewards and who it doesn't. Thank god I didn't train non-vital champs, because when you have multiple accounts you have to keep your activity focused on stuff that is essential, nice to have doesn't get done.
This event was a good idea .... but far too late.
They should have done this a long long time ago when players here and facebook were complaining that purple and orange orbs were only for coiners.
Most of our best players have already quit, and many more will quit when the browser games are switched off forever.
Half of my league have said they will never download Plarium Play app or Facebook Gamesroom app
I think Fireball is right - This is just another sign of the death cycle

That you take offense is on you because I didn't mean it to be an offensive or to even insinuate that you use a credit card at all. I was merely explaining what the feedback I have gotten from the Many that are really happy about the New Events was .
and as the biggest complaint that runs on the forum about most new events is " they are not geared at all within what the Non Paying players can achieve on this Free to Play Game " Not that I agree with the complaint but it's the one I hear and or read most often.
Because when they first came out Orbs of level 4 and 5 were pretty much a cash item.
I guess when it comes to gaming you must cater to the popularity of the Masses over complaints of the very few.
I wish you good Gaming

if its about coiners.they rank rank up as soon as they get a grade 5.
in the end,for me it created a chance to get free orbs for which id normally have to pay for by cash.
i think a random tournament like this which rewards with orbs is always better than no tournament.but well what do u know, more player complain and they may succeed in making plarium stop this one too
i dnt agree with u but i could be wrong so ill just disagree and respect ur point of view as a player like meWesley Pringle said:

i agree with everything u said wesley except one thing.. and that is the popularity of a thing over complaint of a few...
99% sounds familiar ?... i love it,u love it ,almost everyone loved it.. but people who loved it, havnt made a ticket..
ah and still we all had to go to an extra hour of gym class because well,u know, one classmate needed it...
even few complaints being repeatedly cited can end a thing in game...
i will respect everyones perspective but im afraid many things and players are sariiced sometimes
Yep, less than 1% of the players in the game actually use the forums regularly, most just come in to complain when they're upset about something or when something goes wrong. So hopefully if people like this tournament they'll let Parium know so that it continues.Wesley Pringle said:
