At least on the loading part. All three servers have a big number of active players and one server won't be able to cope with them. 

Please note our current servers are quite powerful from hardware point of view (just anticipating your comments about one super powerful server that will be able to manage all players from all three servers).

So what is the max load on server in regards of how many active players (at same time). In terms of calls to the server, from the outside it doesn't look very taxing though. At least not if we start compare to other online games out there.  Also how many active players per server now? A ball park number?

really you cant get 600 players on 1 server !!!!!!!!!!

 check out  rewards  players getting less now more  than ever  if you take out alts then its lucky in storm fall if theres 600 players left playing ???

like thay can fix glitches in game !!!!

or stop master over the last 3 years selling on there site :p

all thay want is our CREDIT CARD DETAILS  no thought  about game play at all ???


what a joke plarium is  i only come on now to  see if any one still plays this game ???

Actually, it just come own to effort, and merging data tables... beacon map should be easy to re-populate.
And what would you have plarium do about accounts that already have castles on both servers?  Should those players get 2 castles?  Or should plarium just delete one of the castles?  What about any money spent on it?
Plarium already stated they got no issue with players have multiple castles...  Look at just about any other mmo out there, they merge servers when activity become to low on servers, to make sure the players "gaming quality" is maintained. a desolated wasteland make for poor gaming experience.
That's on different accounts though.  They'd probably have to make significant changes to the apis to allow a single account to have multiple castles on the same server and switch between them.  I agree it would be nice if they found a way to combine the servers, but it would take quite a bit amount of work.

You could always try just combining everything on one distributed AWS, that way you can dynamically add as much space and power as you need.  It would probably be cheaper than running your own hardware as well.

Meanwhile Fortnite got 3.4 million users logged on at same time through Steam... imagine that....  and just on their mobile platform they pull a million USD a day.... Different type of game, sure...  My first ever web game, Planetarion, had over 200k active accounts almost 20 years ago. And I bet technology progressed WAY WAY since then in terms of servers. As back then the servers was in the creators living room, lol.  It all come down to what Plarium is willing and not willing to do. 


We will never get any details in regard of active accounts, how many people logged on at same time and so on with Plarium, it will break the illusion and bad for their business. But everyone playing the games know the reality of things because they experience it daily where Plarium does not as they don't play their own games in the "real sandbox" with the rest of the plebs...

you'll have to dig.  i posted the info a month or so ago.  if it wasnt deleted that is.  i think plariums overall total active accounts were like 250,000 and dropping. 


thats like 30k per game, divided by how many servers, stormfall for instance, we are looking at 10k players per server.  



After the engine migration and the league dismissal has had time to take effect you can verify yourself simply by looking at the ranks and counting the members in each league, they subtracting 40% from that number. 


that should give you a pretty good idea of what is actually active in the game.

Just going by the total number of members in leagues I'd say it's well over 10k.  Of course there's no way to know how many of those are alts vs real players.

Guess they are still trying to figure it out.

Devs rejected implementation of this feature. They don't want to abuse UI with it and if timer is so required, it's always possible to open it in another tab.
