Good day! Elysian Positions work almost in the same way as regular ones. However, there are some differences. I can't disclose any exact formulas regarding the mechanics of Elysian Positions. However, I can tell for sure that the best way of raiding them is using Light Infantry and Heavy Infantry Elysian Units since you can convert them into more valuable ones.
Also, I should admit that it's impossible to increase the power of your army doing Elysian Positions. The main purpose of Elysian Positions it's a conversion weaker units into stronger ones.

The Elysian position mission pay out is ok but the number troops lost is too much. Please look in to it from now on.
Thanks

Hello!
Well, of course, high levels demand more units for sacrificing than lower levels, but the highest level of Elysian Positions will yield the greatest Rewards. There is also value in sending weaker Elysian Units to lower-level Elysian Positions. You may just end up with a more powerful army than the one you sent.

When you said “Weaker Units” what do you mean ?
Give us a example of a weaker unit.

I am talking about e.g Pezos or Dimacha but this is always up to a player's decision what type of units to use on Elysian Positions. There is no correct or wrong tactic, every player finds his own gameplay style and may share some tips on the forum.
Elysian Position “Bank” is based on Elysian Units resources, GPs & Moonstones
When you lose Units you deposit to the Bank the equivalent GPs & Moonstones of the lost/dead units.
If you lost 1000 Pezos the deposit is 1000 GPs and 200.000 Moonstones.
With these resources the Bank calculate the equivalent Payout.
What maximum Payout can you expect if you lose 1000 Pezos ?

If the Payout is not 1000 Pezos whitch is imposible to happen you will lose power from 50% to 80%
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and some calculations with us. I am not sure how you came to these calculations but I can assure you that the reward system considers *all* of your invested units. I am afraid, due to the confidential reasons I cannot disclose the formula, but what I would recommend is keep trying or searching for other tactics doing Elysian Positions. I wish you good luck in the game.

I play a lot of EP, especially during clash tournament . Dorma WOR I saw your post so I scouted 4 very high levels elysian positions and had sent the very same numbers and types of elysian units as the Persians were .every time I won the battle .so I do believe that if our agreements for elysian units are upgraded it is easy to kill the EP and the stats are the same as game stated for Elysian units and elysian Persians.I usually use the same tactic with the regular PP as scouting with 1 pezos and choose the right troops to have fewer losses and to get a decent payout. This part is working as the regular PP but the EP payouts are very lower than regular PP as the elysian units are powerful. we have to have the storages full of moonstones and 50% of grain consumption as the regular PP. what is not the same with regular PP is that when we leave the ep on one bar the Persian army receives reinforcements so we need much more units to kill it afer . So it is better to kill it and not leave it at 1 bar. The Elysian mission is not even close to the regular mission. I will clean them when my units will be on max .till then I leave it as it is . this is my personal observation as a player. As Morteee very well said we have to wait for the official replyDogma WOR said:Does anyone know the strength of the Persian units in the Elysian Positions. They are obviously are not PP values, there're elevated or the Elysian troop values are less than stated.I actually dont know the answer to this so have requested the info from plarium for you

i hace applied 4 times a 2 day boost on a lvl 10 moonstone quarry only to find out that they didnt work so they are lost...what a dissapointment to have to purchase those is certainly very expensive
regular boosts dont work on Elysian buildings, you wont have lost them as they cant be applied
Elysian buildings and agreements have their own boosts
if you used Elysian boosts and indeed lost them you need to raise a ticket with the support team
