I think, with respect to Cruelty vs Crushing Rend, the equation just comes down to how much face damage you do. You only need one person on the team to run Cruelty, and you want it to be the person who does the least face damage possible.

Cruelty also only procs 4 times the whole cb fight ........ Tested it in a couple of fights

Yesterday i tested cruelty in cb. And i noticed that after turn 2 when the new cycle of cb attacks cruelty doesnt proc aggain. So today i tested it again. 2 champs with cruely.... fahrakin with a one star and skullcrusher with a 2 star. Just to see if the difference in awakening makes a difference. And again after the first cycle both of them stop hitting cruelty....... so with both champs i landed 5 % def down..... so if it only procs in the first few turns and its impossible to get 20% without a 6 star awakening. My avarage damage on un is always between 47 and 49 mil at turn 50 and with the cruelty blessing it stays exactly the same.......

Second run and switched Fahrakin to crushing rend (1 star , 300 gems ouch ) and it changed nothing to my damage output ...... Fattie does 16 mil on avarege and this is even my first time hitting 14 mil with him... he even seems to crit less wth crushing rend. Maybe worst rng ever this run and another thing with two champs i landed 5 def down and with only skullcrusher i landed 5 def down coincedence ?

To be honest Crushing Rend is also useless in cb. The same as cruelty it only procs in turn 0,1,2 after that it doesnt work anymore. I've been playing my runs on 1x speed to be sure if it hit between turn 2 and 50 .........

Did you read the awakening? Crushing rend at 1 star only activates on the first hit. Cruelty at 1 star only reduces armor by 5%, which will likely happen by turn 3.

So kram, my alt runs the old ME/PK with brawler as slow guy.  Just pulled a 3 star brawler.  This comp is an absolute borderline 2key UNM.  So even 1 million more damage would make it 100%..  😆

Once you hit the max deceases indicated in the blessing, you don't get any more procs. So for a 1 star blessing you're gonna hit 5% pretty fast.

I would select Brimstone. You're looking at 500k total damage per time you apply Smite.

Even at 20% application, you're looking at a few million damage there. :)

Still a pretty easy choice. Almost certainly Cruelty. Though I have my doubts as to whether it'll give you 1M more damage.

I only have Phantom Touch (or whatever the name is) on 3 star on my Frozen Banshee and it gives me 1,5-2 million more dmg per key. As i sometimes struggle to get a 2 key UNM run it really helps me a lot.

As it scales with the ap a better equipped champ should get much more out of it as my team is just medicore (or worse) equipped and i am slowly updating them.

My question now is what to apply to Helicath (i have him awakened), I used him as my lead on many dungeons including Iron Twins as well as my lead in Clan Boss.  I'm thinking Intimidating Presence makes very good sense.  Would appreciate some thoughts, suggestions?

Intimidating presence is just okay for CB. It's really intended for arena, where you benefit not just from buffing your own aura, but also reducing theirs - and, where small differences in speed can make a huge difference in results.

I think for CB I would lean towards Cruelty if you don't already have it, and Crushing Rend if you do.

One thing to add to this - for CB especially, Crushing Rend is *way* less useful without full awakening. So, if Helicath isn't 6-star awakened, go for Cruelty.

How would cruelty work in cb with Draco?  I used brimstone but disappointed. debuffs up already so it's only applied about 4 times a run.

Sample size of 1 i think well over 1M with level 3 on brawler.  Range is 33 to 38, typically 34 to 36 on void and I did 39M today. Its a terrible rng comp due to an unbooked Narma in retaliation gear 😆 but I'm pretty sure that decrease defense over 50 rounds adds up significantly. 

Ah I now see you meant you had a soul for Occult Brawler. lol

Cruel is excellent too. So I went back to my old CB comp just to test and saw, with brimstone and cruel both at level 1, a 14 million or so increase in damage on this same team, same affinity.

i
