Makes sense.  I have the resources to easily do the event, but I just don't have the time at the moment, especially for a fragment/fusion combination like this which will be more tiring.  I do like a good ally attack champion, but I am still underwhelmed by this one, and ultimately they will sit in my vault.  

My High Elves Faction Wars is also maxed already.  With regards to Scarab, I recently saw a post about how toxic Vergis is significantly faster than destroy Vergis, of which I am currently running the latter.  Which one are you running at the moment?

I cannot believe that that the default auto doesn't make him do his A2 on scarab.  I know that you can set up the AI but it feels like a rather large gap in the coding.  One of the biggest benefits to the A2 is the extra shield and static buff from having dead allies, yet he never uses it when he is by himself?

@harleQuinn , I am not sure this is the Vergis replacement that you are looking for...  I guess HH could have put him in toxic gear or something to improve it, but I don't know...

Edit: Just saw that even when the A2 was manually done, the next A1 replaced the unremovable shield with a normal shield anyway?  Hashtag WTF

I haven't seen anything on Toxic Vergis yet, no. So yeah, I'm running the classic destroy right now. Just how much better is he?? 0_0

Side note: With DT Bosses and FW21s I basically figured out the farming teams, and then have ignored everyone there ever since. Click auto and go, set it and forget it style, forever. XD XD

Yeah, looks like. The more we see from him, it is REALLY looking like he is extra mediocre. Mediocre to weak damage, hard to believe the A1 overriding the unremovable shield. Hard to believe the way his AI works in general.

Frankly, even to be competitive in all of the new content, his shield would need to be unremovable with zero stipulations, AND it would need to be fixed so that A1 couldn't override it ever.

So you go in and bring a food champ that will easily die so his A2 bonus kicks in right? But then, his A3 is just that much weaker, cuz there's one less ally to charge in with... bizarre

I predict a buff/fix. No way this champ was intended to work this poorly... lol.  Will probably start doing events and decide later whether to get epics or fuse the lego.  

They have, and continue to flood the factions with a lot of meeeh epics and legendaries, it's not the same as it used to be when your summon goes yellow - 9 out of ten times it's not going to be any useful champ

Maybe that's the idea, they aren't bothered about ftp so if the spenders have to spend more on shards to get the better champs that would fit their business model

Watch the obvious gotcha's! Some 15 shard events like arena classic .. don't be relying on them instead of a summon event or you'll be paying cold hard cash for that final 5 shards!

Day 1:
Spider Tournament – 20x Anchorite – 2250 Points needed.
So... 2250 points for this will take kinda 2250 energy at level 20 – about 140 runs

I´m a level 17, so it will be something like 160 runs and a lot of luck, some more energy worthy of a lot of gems at least. 

I spend 4 minutes a run, so: 640 minutes.... 7 plus hours non stop spitting at spider for 20 parts of an epic...

So i could just give up! i still need the other 80 parts of this epic, and other 4 epics, to after build up and fuse in a bad leggo????

And worse: you will need a lot of shards for summon and chase, because 2 epics depend on this!

Oh come on! this is not worth it by any means. 

I will try a bit for the prizes, but so far the odds are that this is a skip.

What were you expecting? This spider event is identical to every other fusion one.

Trying to figure out which epics to gun for...

How long is your destroy Vergis taking?  The Toxic Vergis post I saw is https://www.reddit.com/r/RaidShadowLegends/comments/wbo5rj/hard_scarab_100_farm_with_toxic_set_vergis_better/, so might need to just compare!  I haven't tried it yet, but an 8 minute hard 100 scarab run looks pretty decent
