0😆 i am not giving specific champ advice since my solution to avoiding the speed race in classic arena is to fight the tanky teams with:

Ramantu(lead)

Kimi or Lydia 

Warlord

Leo

Fyi, after approaching 3200 last Night in g4, I am treading at 3000 today. Classic is almost as difficult as tag (and I am in G3...)

Of course it was. You just had the luxury of having a weak matchmaking system to protect you.

Eventually it was going to catch up. The last few weeks just accelerated it. Whatever fix they implement, eventually, those teams are going to start failing more and more. So, if you want to rest on your laurels, be my guest, but then don't come back in three months complaining about how your defense team is getting crushed.

Look - that said, I will retract some of my point. The actual team comp of Arb + Kymar + Serris + Rotos is pretty solid defensively, and decently scary. What team power are you running?

160 to 170 as the only one built with stats that raise team power is Roto, Arb is all speed, PK is my second so speed and Acc , MS  480ish Acc, then Roto.

Shrug just fustrating to go from fine to toliet in a couple weeks 😀

And the teams that you're seeing which beat you - I'm curious what types of teams they are. Because that's a reasonable team power, I probably would avoid fighting it with my Stoneskin Cardinal team, and I'd also likely avoid it with my Arbiter Maulie team, because Rotos is just annoying to deal with.

Mostly other speed teams but they did not use to hit me this much, I know it is because we are all squished and much closer to each other than before G5 and the matchmaking was changed.

What rank and rating are you at? I'm really quite surprised that you're getting attacked so much with that team. I find that in the 2950-3000 rating range, people just don't want to take the risk of attacking and possibly losing, when they aren't very confident in winning, and your team certainly does not provide that level of confidence.

What are the ratings of the players who attack you? Are you mostly attacked by people much lower, or much higher than you?

I got pushed all the way back to G2 last week.

I am at 2350 right now and get hit by a mix of players above and below me, and just lost points to a freeze 😭

I could stay in G5 doing like 10 classic battles a day prior, I rarely used my refills.  As you can see I've used everything since reset and barely up 100 points, 😆. 

I don't care if I am in g4 or g5, even g3 but I agree with minin. I don't want to spend any more time in classic arena.  Bring back the BOTS!!!

I'm just in the "Stay in G4" camp. All other work is wasted until the changes start coming through, at least in my opinion.
