off the top of my head, i'm thinking maybe ninja and genbo for damage, plus burangiri, toragi, and hotatsu for cc and support.

All jokes aside, Ninja, Toragi, Hotatsu, Oboro, Burangiri, Masamoto...could see running Ninja with any of those four, maybe even omitting Oboro and going with Ninja + the other four because there's quite a bit of abilty to go long and just let Ninja DPS down.

If you aren't going for Lydia, no sense in building someone just for FW.

Angwil, I am hijacking and pinning your thread to ask people to share their initial Shadowin FW teams as they attack it for the first time in a few hours!

So let's see what everyone is bringing to the table!

I'll start with a team post. Here are my Shadowkin:

Seems the first at least 2 cycles are 3 starred with little other work than what I am currently doing. My plan is to take in a level 60 Toragi, Jintoro and Ninja, as well as a Hotatsu and Yoshi. I wonder if I can complete Shadowkin.

As far as bosses, the Stage 7 boss is the Green Boss, the Poison boss.

The Stag 14 boss is the Blue Boss, the Ally Attack boss.

The Stage 21 boss is the Red Boss, the Ignore Defense boss.

So 7 and 14 don't look too hard. 21 looks to be a SMACKING.

OOPS. Did not account for the boss fight in 21. That's going to change how we approach things due to lack of current, reasonable revivers. I suppose we can still try to push the defensive comps with 1-2 DPS, and just care about HP. 

Your comp has pretty much everything. DPS, protection, multiple champs that slam bosses and perhaps the most important thing for 21: multiple attack down champs to negate that ignore defense. 

Also, Masamoto (from the Tatura fusion) should be pretty helpful for anyone who picked him up as one of the two epics we could keep. Big increase defense + turn meter boost and attack down on the A2. Keeping that decrease attack up the whole fight is gonna be huge for consistency. 

Masamoto! I wanted to get the second one of him, but I had lucksacked into pulling Tatura during the summon rush for Tatura. So I just wasn't motiviated enough to get the 12,000 or 14,000 points it was to get there and collect the second one.

I recently got pretty lucky and pulled Kyoku, so I expect to get to lvl 20 at least without big problems. Ninja and Oboro for damage, Kyoku, Toragi and Hotatsu for protection should get the job done 

I honestly haven't looked at most of their abilities so I have no idea what I'm going to do.

Just to break down a few key roles for this faction, Healer/Sheild options:

1. Toragi (epic) - places a shield buff and ally protection for 2 turns.  3 turn cooldown when booked, and heals himself.  can provoke as well to lock down the other team.

2. Hotatsu (epic) - continuous heal and inc def for 2 turns, 3 turn cooldown when booked.

3. Burangi (epic) - places shield buff on allies with less than 50% hp, but 4 turn cool down.  Also does a stun on his A2.

4. Riho (lego) - MVP healer/debuffer and can block buffs.  I think if you have her, you've got this faction on lock.

5. Kyoku (lego) - Ally protection, places block damage on herself, and has a passive (on long cooldown) that increases def and heals allies.

CC options:

1. Toragi as mentioned with provoke.

2. I think Sachi (epic) in stun gear could do well because AOE A1.  does atk up as well.

Attack options - there's a lot, including ninja.  I think everyone will be fine in this category.

Revive options - are none (except for Sachi but good luck getting it to trigger).  Means we really gotta focus on the healers/shielders/cc to survive.

The frog will definitely be on my team.  So will Genzin for Dec Def, ninja for freeze/dmg, Burangi cause he's built for DT already, and probably genbo for the early stages because he's built.  Might need more stun or maybe Hotatsu for extra heals later.  Someone give me Riho :)

Toragi  carrying  the  water.  The  stealthy  assasin  and  fearsome  maruader  with  his  15%  chance  stun.  Happy  to  finally  use  fenshi  but  apparently  geared  him  with  3  attack  %.

It was close, but survived day 1 of shadowkin. Whoever said additional rewards were subpar was crazy.  I collected a bunch. 

Straight up raining voids today.
