I just pulled popped 15 sacreds, was already 2 deep. All epics. That's 17 sacreds, 17 epics. I'm quitting this game. I'm not going to.keep dumping money into a game that hates me and doesn't want me to play it. I'm just done..I've invested so much time and money into a game THAT HATES ME..so goodbye and thanks for the bad memories I enjoyed about 2% of it. I'll miss about 2 people. For a week..then I won't gaf.
I'm jealous you're making it out soon, less than 3 months in.
Rest of us will continue grinding away at those purple chickens.

I would also love to know what epics you pulled, As i was lucky with epics and pulled MM, Seeker and Rearguard with my 5 shards all 3 that i did not have and all 3 that will help me greatly.

But stil the expectation of drawing sacred shards on a x2 sacred shard event is to pull legendary champions and not epic champions however good they might be.
I can totally understand the anger of OP and his decision.
After x2 ancient shards 2 weeks ago and having to go 2 times into mercy to get a legendary hero which turned out to be a triple (and a double), I was also very close to deinstalling RAID.
That is the bad side of this RNG heavy game.
The good side is the unexpected pulling of some good champs....but I think the relation is about 10-90 in favour of the bad side....*sigh*

Frustration is perfectly understandable. Anger in this situation is childish.
What's frustrating is going deep into mercy every time, meanwhile you get to watch people that pull 10 shards and get 5 great legos. It's a very luck driven game, and when you're seeing how other people breeze through it when the struggle is real for you, the feeling of climbing up a mountain while others are taking a helicopter to the top is real.
It's a very unbalanced game in that manner, doesn't matter how much you spend, other peoples accounts will be better with a lot less effort and a lot more luck. That's why fusions are nice, at least you know what you're getting.

You see posts from it on Reddit from when it happens. Someone gets excited about their amazing luck, then posts the screens, and lots of people go green with envy.
There's a million daily players, occasionally (although very very rarely based on only seeing it twice myself) it happens that someone gets 4 or 5 legendaries on a 10 pull.
Chris is 100% right though. Fusions are the very best way to improve your account.

Image a repeatition of Opening & Failing to get a Leggo 15 times.

At a 12% chance of getting a lego in a 2x event, I think it's important to manage that expectation. To put it another way, there's an 88% chance that you will get an epic each time you open a sacred shard. If someone goes into a 2x sacred event and thinks that they will quit if they don't get a lego, then they are setting themselves up for disappointment from the start.
Instead of looking to get a lego for the sake of getting a lego, people need to instead look for good champions that will help your account. There are so many epics that I am still missing after more than 1.5 years of play which would change so much for me. Alure, Royal Guard, Jareg, Seeker, Rector, Sinesha, Toragi and Venomage are eight off the top of my head that I would absolutely love to get, yet I seem to only be getting Wardens.
I finally got my first Skullcrusher in this last fusion event during some summons which has now given me some ideas of a different CB team. Getting this champion was a bigger win for me than getting some legos. I have more epic books than lego books anyway
