So I had a thought... if you got Visionary and Masamoto from their events AND got all four copies of each rare you could fuse 2 copies of any epic you want and use them as Faction Guardians. I could do it but I'd have to spend nearly all of my sacred shards. I pulled one sacred for the Summon Rush and it got me Lich so I'm feeling a little gunshy. :-)

Yes, you can get two copies of either/each Visionary and/or Masamoto. If you have the others you can fuse the leggo and keep a copy of these two, or you could put them in the Guardian Circle.
I really wish they made summon and training taking place at the same time standard practice. Disposing of mystery shard pulls to make space always feels so tedious and wasteful if there's no training going on, and then you end up needing those during the training events anyway.
This fusion certainly seems to reversing the trend towards nice event overlaps for double/triple dipping on points. I think the added difficulty of a "normal" fusion, not fragments, combined with the event sequencing makes this fusion more a pain than prior. I may be wrong as I haven't looked back at any lol, it just feels deliberately designed to be more difficult overall despite the individual events being unchanged.

Obviously we can't take a CC's words as absolute truth. But HH said he believes this is the most f2p "friendly" fusion in a while. Obviously it would be better had some of these events overlapped. But we can't expect it to be too easy I suppose.

It could be, lol, I just find my champ space crunch (my fault as I am too stingy to unlock more space with gems) to be the biggest hassle. So I want training + a shard event to coincide at start of fusion whenever possible. I guess chase overlapping with training for the most part is good, so maybe I should re-evaluate my thoughts based on the entire fusion instead of just the events so far :) Probably starting with IG after the IG faction tournament (which I "had" to try and win) just annoyed me as well. Spending a week in golem is not fun.
Far as I can tell, it's only the most F2P-friendly one in the sense that you can skip both the summon and the chase event, assuming you go all in for the training event and get the epic from it. Doing that and everything else, you'll end up with 3 Castigators, 4 Itinerants, 3 Misericords, 3 Ordinators and 1 Masamoto, allowing you to use the 3x4 rares to fuse the remaining 3 epics and also skip one of the Itinerant events (Dungeon I, Spider, Enhancement II or Arena II). That's what I'm doing, and since I already got the first 2 Itinerant events done, I guess I'll be skipping the equipment upgrades.
Other than that, it seems pretty standard in terms of overlap and work required. Though were the rares always at 2250 points in the specific dungeons? Doesn't matter all that much since they also overlap with the dungeon diving, but still. The biggest challenge, at least for me, is frankly just the time of year. I've reached the age when Christmas vacation is more work than my regular job.
Seems very F2P friendly. So much so that doing the summon rush rewards you on your very last ancient....
(PS, don't try and replicate this by spending all your ancients. this is just the craziest best luck I've ever had playing raid! XD )

If we take the context of this being a classic fusion and what appears to be the power level for Tatura, it's absolutely the most F2P friendly fusion in quite some time. I don't think I've seen a single legendary fusion since I started (before Brago) that didn't require you to do at least one of the summoning events/tournaments, if you're not winning a tournament.

I have fragments for 2 legendaries and I'm debating using them on CvC or holding on to them in case I need them for champ chase.
IMO this legendary is worth a lot more than the CvC rewards. I can probably get him anyway, but just like to have a few cards in the hole.

I still need masamoto, but i have hardly been pushing hard and i will comfortably finish the fusion.

I think you can finish dragon in one day with super raids, take the 24th and 25th off entirely, and then resume the nonsense of rsl... lol... and easily finish the fusion.
Finished this today without pushing hard at all, obviously my 50 blues got me trash but...was definitely an easy fusion?
Minnow here so I can't comment on F2P friendlienes. But this has been a rather easy fusion and I imagine if it's an easier fusion at my level it must be easier at whatever level you're at. I could do the fusion today, but will wait till tomorrow to open ancient shards for the off chance of pulling the 10x target Wythir. We can't all be like Harle and just pop an ancient for this champ lol; congrats harle.
