Yes, when I said high resist CA team, everyone is high resistance.  You could make that a bit easier with a toon like Oella and then you'd also have buff extension on top of the Inc Res.  

Could i ask what sort of damage you are getting?

My NM team is my weakest team of the three, amazingly i have never pulled shammael so i run a wierd team

Mirachka lead (cleanse, heal, some TM), Eostrid (massive turn meter, such a great champ), Uugo (block buffs), Michinaki and Gnut for damage (i like gnut as he makes freeing champs trivial), and i run a nearly 400 speed rector to veil and res.

Its a strange team and does about 125 million damage - well below the level i want in order to pull my weight on NM.

It is the team i would be most open to rebuilding  completely.

2.5 Hrs is a really long Hydra run, so I keep experimenting with other options. My second best NM run has Maulie instead of Valk:

I have only been running the team with the pairing of Emic & Nia for 4-5 weeks.  Before that, I did not hit turn limit and typically did 120M +/- in about 90 minutes.

I have a half dozen different combos that can do the 120M +/-, but nothing really got higher than that until the Emic/Nia Perma-taunt.

If I replaced Valk with Alaz, I would instantly gain provoke and more damage.

If you didnt have shammael would you still run the same sort of team?

I have been using a veil champ (rector) due to no shammael but have considered putting in someone like Maud instead for the constant passive cleanse, with the extra benefits she brings (backup removal of buffs if uugo misses).

I have used Rector in Hydra, and she is solid, but I switched the NM team to Tatura before I started using Shamael.

IMO, he is a better option than Rector unless you need the revive.  He offers block debuffs, increase defense, and can do some damage as well.  

With Valk's shields and Teela's healing, dying was never the problem for me, it was getting eaten, so Tatura was a better option.

Got a new void lego yesterday though.

I ran him in my brutal team, swapped out rathalos and put him in and hit auto - did about 150 million damage which is significantly down on my top scores. 

But- his gear could be a lot better and the team isnt suited for him. And i only have a 2 star blessing for him. So for a completely auto run it isnt bad, he ended up doing the same damage as razelvarg who has much better gear.

I did notice later on in the run, despite not having great gear he was starting to do AOE hits for about 4 or 5 million damage (his defence had ramped up from the counterattacks).

In conclusion i think in long fights he could really smack but it needs either smart teams (such as a high resist team) or manualling to get the best from him

Makes sense.  He is definitely suited for long sustained fights like that but also needs a team properly suited for him.

Always is.  So much to do, so little free time.

Looks like a crazy version of Heph with much better surivability. The fact that he can damage through stoneskin is interresting but I don't see it being part of an instant kill team. Better to have someone strip the stoneskin and then have this guy go.

I think people are right that this guy would work really well in long fights where you are destroying max HP. 

Oh i agree that gear is crucial- i may strip my second gnut who has a set that would be great - but i use both gnuts quite a bit so...

I am not sure how after 3+ years of playing i have so few top tier defence damage sets.
