Nah. There's already another champ with that same ability, and it's largely irrelevant. The only reason this guy would see any use at all in arena, is as a possible counter to Wukong - but my guess is that won't happen, since countering an offense with a defense rarely ever works. He needs to go before Wukong to make his A3 useful, which is typically not an option.

Really with a passive that triggers a provoke every time they are attacked? What champion? Not saying I don't believe you, I just don't know all of the champions.
At 60% you it will be a little spotty but he seems like someone if you throw a couple of stoneskins on him, that has the potential to lock out AOE champions on the other team. They attack with an aoe, he counters and places a provoke, they attack on the provoke, he places another provke, anon.
I don't see him used in live arena but he will have his place in tag team, I think. But yes, he should be great for someone like me in Clan Boss that lacks a good provoke champion.
According to the description it is unclear. Does anyone know if the 75% chance also applies to the increase buff duration? If so the writers of these descriptions really need to learn how to use a conjuction.

No, the passive of placing counter attack. The a1 is obviously different. The non removable is different too, of course, and yes having him in stoneskin could be interesting, but generally these type of gimmicks don't work well because they're reactive.

Off the top of my head, there are two epics that Kram could be referring to:
Baerdal Fellhamer has a very similar passive to Wixwell, but the initial CA is not protected.
Atur has a passive CA that procs when hit with a crit hit, and has provoke on A1 & A2.
Compared to Wixwell, these two epics are really just one-trick ponies. Wixwell's combo of the Passive CA and A1 Provoke are just gravy on top of an already S-Tier Defensive Support KIt.
I am not a member of the "Wixwell is the best fusion ever" camp; however, Wixwell is certainly good enough that it would be dumb to not do his fusion.
So if I am reading the schedule correctly, you can skip 4 if you do the last summon rush? If so I might just skip the champion chase and first summon rush.
There is only one summon rush. It shows on the calendar in two spots with the same dates because there is both an epic and a rare available from it.
If you are going to plan to grab the Epic from the SR, plan to burn Sacreds. The Epic from the SR is sometimes over 5k points.
Torn on whether to save my shards, i dont have a lot at the moment (11 sacred, 30 voids, 40 ancients) and would be tempted to pull them during the summon rush if doing the fusion.
Do people think the shield growth is working as intended, or is it bugged and soon to be fixed?
What's the bug?

As usual, plarium is being scummy by not posting the summon rush point requirements in advance. Is 5k about what it typically is? The pieces being void makes it even harder to skip, since it's unlikely you'll get exactly four from summoning

I saw a comment on Discord that the shield growth is infintestimal, but I have no idea if that is accurate and/or if it will be changed.
I assume that a CC must have done a vid and said it must be bugged, but I have not watched any vids on Wixwell. Do any of the Mods have any information on this?
