How does Temporal Chains interact with the Hydra Heads?
My Mithrala has 3S Temporal Chains, and it procs like crazy during Hydra battles, even when the Heads do not have any active buffs. Is it actually reducing the speed of the Hydra Heads, and if so, what is causing it to Proc?
Any ideas?

The answer is definitely no. I think it's just a visual glitch.

So I looked into this, got confirmation that when Hydra has buffs, it DOES reduce speed, just as described in the blessing.
When Hydra doesn't have buffs, the trigger text pops up but it's a visual bug. It likes to pop up, and is on the list of visual things to be fixed eventually.
Ofc even with 6 stars, it doesn't affect TM.

And that the freshly respawned heads are slower to move too, which is good and bad, depending on the team.
I don't mind having more time to Trunda things before Decay tries to cleanse, taking him down before he goes. But my NM team wants that Hydra's Will buff gone asap.

Is Trunda actually worth building out for Hydra? I know she has some silly big numbers, but I thought that was mostly a gimmick.

Its a gimmick, yes, because she is bugged lol. But absolutely worth it. Ridiculous, absolutely should be nerfed imo

You say she's bugged, as do randoms, but Plarium says her damage is as intended and won't be changed.

It's crazy what damage her A2 does when it crits three more times on an initial crit, and you get a few Helmsmasher procs for extra defense ignore on those exponential crits. Easy 20-30 million per A2 when all that lines up.
Can just casually auto to at least a billion even with just Arbiter, Lydia, one reset and an Emic.

On hard? Cause that's the team I assume I'd be using her on. And I have both Emic and multiple resetters.

You can use on any difficulty based on your gear level:
Normal = early game
Hard = mid game
Brutal = late game
NM = end game whale gear

I'd definitely be interested in seeing what kind of gear is necessary for this to work on brutal. What would the team be? Arb, Lydia, Emic, Kymar, Trunda, and someone with provoke? Or possibly Shamael instead, to deal with Torment?
