I did  WishList RAID  on my Steam account but will not be  playing Raid through a Steam 3rd  party client

I have always  chosen the Host site when given  the option. 

Games  like Starwars  online / Dungeons and Dragons Online / Path of Exile / Archeage / The Division 1 & 2 /  TERA /  Stronghold Kingdoms   just to name a few in my past gaming years.  Less hic ups when I go directly to the source (for  me anyway)

As I said in other threads I deleted all other games  from my gaming PC to just commit 100% to RAID

But yes I encourage everyone to play Raid the best way that suits them ;)  and do wishlist it on Steam if you have an account with Steam

very nervous about this launch on STEAM platform

I love this game above all other games........and I have played ALL the  top triple AAA games  on the market

sure  hope the community drowns  out the H8ers

EDIT : So I just downloaded STEAM to my gaming PC for the sole purpose of  being able to THUMBS up comments  and reviews I like and  THUMBS down comments I disagree with. But refuse to play this game I love through STEAM

Honestly, this makes zero sense to include on Steam. Yes it will get trashed, because this is a mobile game, and Steam is not a mobile-game distribution environment.

More curious as to opinions on RSL being a "mobile" game now.  I'd imagine those playing 6+ months are primarily at last 50% playing on a PC.  I think @kramaswamy.kr you are an outlier being mobile only :)

That's not what I mean. I'm not denying that people use PC to play RSL. I'm saying that Steam users are going to look at this game and immediately trash it as a mobile game because it is not a "normal" game that you'd see on Steam, nor is it intended to be.

My lack of knowledge of what a normal game is on steam... well everything related to steam... probably means I should just not comment on this thread lol. But PG makes it sound like the steam community is reddit on steroids or something? But even if it's a collasal failure on the new platform would it really impact anything outside of steam?

Steam is a marketplace. It's by far the biggest one for PC games. Basically - if you're a PC gamer, you've almost certainly bought all your games through Steam. And so, what RSL is competing with is ... literally every other PC game out there. Most of which involve a very different type of game. RSL is competing with other mobile games. It's not trying to compete with the likes of Call of Duty, Diablo 4, Destiny 2, etc.

Its like all those years of expensive commercials  and hard work promoting this game down the drain in a blink of the eye
