Yes I think rare in the higher valued shard pulling ridiculous. They could better. Maybe if they combined with void drop availability.

Just like this or something other percentage rate with this avaibility:

Normal epic 66,5%  -  Void epic 25% -  Normal lego 4% - Void Lego 2% - Normal mythical 1,5% - Void Mythical 1%

The issue is you've just designed a shard that won't show up much of anywhere as an in game reward and certainly would end up only being viable for high spenders. You've effectively made a shard that's vastly better than Void + Sacred, where do you think that's going to end up, how is that going to be realistic?

There was and is no indication that Plarium is trying to redefine how we value shards in terms of the hierarchy of them.

With 82.5% rare drop rate viable now to high spenders now isnt and what you wrote ? Yes, vastly better the Mythical than the others isnt ? Just thats can drop the strongest champions isnt ? And other thing thats the higher valued shard because this.

This isn't complicated, folks. They gave spenders something new to spend money on, and did so in a manner that wouldn't break the game for everyone else. Not sure why people seem to have a hard time grasping this.

Agree 100% .. That and its also extra pts and shards for f2p .. i got 2 free , 1 from monthly login and 1 from champ training .. they adding pve content to get more .. i dont see how more pts for shard/champ related event is bad ..

Incase you didn’t understand what I was trying to say here: the version of Primal shards you’ve described is much stronger than a void + sacred shard combined. It would end up being mostly unattainable, be much more expensive, be in very few events and tournaments, not be in the daily login and would probably have absurdly difficult content attached to earning it.

By default it's the Mythical shard, with this drop percentage, only paid players are favored. This shard is the biggest p2w resource ever which created by Plarium. And 1 rare for 10 bucks is ridiculous. You trying to say , this is good and normal. Pfffff

Other thing this is not for whales/krakens? Who can reach now the plat leagues ? The f2p players ? The Platinum League will show who benefits from this stone. With other percentage without high rares drops at least give more chances to get nice heroes to others to, not just for krakens.

I find all the outrage about mythicals and primal shards odd. I also play Summoners War, where their equivalent of a void shard comes with a 0.3% chance of getting a legendary, there's no mercy system, they are hard to get for free, but in the shop you're talking around £50 for one single void shard plus resources. And yet, Summoners War has a great and active community, and their live arena esport channel is great fun to watch. Void legnedaries are very desirable in that game, yet it's not hard to come across them in PvP. Heck, even I managed to get one after 6 months of play and am hoping for another soon. Somehow that 0.3% chance hasn't ruined my game. I really don't understand what all the fuss is about in Raid. 

When you don't create false narratives - i.e. making up things that I said, given that not once have I claimed F2P are treated equally - we can have discussions. No point in them now when you either won't or cannot debate any actual points made and just resort to misrepresentations.

Again, you are trying in vain to misinterpret things. The plain fact is that the misrepresentation you are trying to make about the Mitic shards simply does not cover the reality. You claim that 82.5% rare droprate, covers the least of the differences between krakens and those who pay less. Where for $10 you can most likely get 1 rare hero. You think that's better than 91.5% of players getting some epic heroes. That's not a bit absurd thinking. It's also a fallacy that characters gained from gold shards are more valuable than characters gained from void shards, which krakens already mostly have +4 characters, but a player who spends little, might not even get. This is what divides players mostly. The possibility that they can get good characters for much less. This causes the greatest inequality.

Basically to get a garanteed one of these new champions you have to spend a ton of money to get there. You are looking at close to 250 shards before you hit 50% chance of grabbing one. By putting in the low drop rates for epics and legendaries it means that most of what they spend money on is going to be trash. It is a way to say, "You can buy mythical champion for $500+ without saying, "Buy a mythical champion for $500+!".

It would be upsetting if these mythical champions were game breaking but it doesn't seem to be the case. BTW, in the video Palarium said there would be an oportunity for everyone to get one in the future. Probably in some sort of fusion event. I wouldn't count on it being even remotely easy to complete though...

So, I realize chances of getting anything good out of Primal Shards is, lol, low.

But to crack one of the shards we all have been given over this 3 day period. The first one.

Congrats. She is a beast in Kaerok Castle level 3 on normal. 

I was surprised when I went to work this Monday  and hear from one  of my work M8s that he bought 10ish primal shards  on the weekend.. He is  no Kraken and will add he only got rare champs as  most so far

Myself I have not bought any and holding on to the 4 I got right now  until I know more about this new content coming to the game

So just saying people are buying these Primal packs/ not  just Krakens

Edit to add an important fact / he was  under the  influence when he purchased them (much like free drinks at a casino). so he told me

THe ones that are aren't doing the math or they fall prey to the gambler's fallacy. He could buy 200 of the shards and his chances would still just be 0.5% of getting one.

I just don't get what the big deal is.  There are only four so every time you get one the odds of getting a dupe goes up 25%.  

anyone that has 4, 2 of them will be dups.  In no time whales will have all 4 and stop spending.

Then they will trickle out one or two new mythical at time to open their wallets.

in the meantime, it has ZERO affect on my game!

Not to mention - I haven't actually bothered looking at their kits, but it wouldn't surprise me if some of them simply aren't viable arena champs. For the rest of the content, who cares if the whales happen to get them? Not like they aren't going to get through that content with some other methods if they didn't get these new champs.

My possible reactions to this:

a) Be jealous. But that is such a waste of my emotions, it's not worth it.

b) Be like "what the hell, already?". But should i be that surprised? Out of 100000 players, some will be dumb and spend a BMW's worth of money on a dumb video game.

c) Say "Good for him" But what does that mean? His wife is probably gonna divorce him when she finds out he spent thousands on pixels instead of buying her some jewelry. So how is that good for him....

d) Be like "OMG, this guy is gonna dominate, and he will break the game and so i should quit". Although not true, this might be the best course of action LOL
