So, if you see an objective cap on points that's per member, not clan. I am interested in seeing what that cap is though...

I can't recall seeing this one before as a 2x in CvC, either. It's something we're usually doing anyway for CvC with energy refills so those are passive points, in a way.

Each player could get the 20k max by spending 10k gems.  On your 10,001 gem it's only one cvc point per gem.

Of course, you're spending 10k gems tomorrow, right Angwil? Maybe another 5k just to prove you're cool?

Calendar year 2022, here we are in December and I spent $40 for 4 months of daily gems, after I was depleated in the Krisk event.

Calendar year 2021, $60 total all on daily gem packs from Jan-Jun

Christmas eve 2020 was the last time I spent anything else, $250 on shards and energy.  Did get soulguide.  Before that I spent here and there till I realized the returns don't add up.  

Took me 14 months to get apo, 18 to get Coldheart.  

game didnt click for me until after 18 months I pulled my 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Maneater on the same day.

my advice: nothing is more important than do unm!

And while ofc I'm totally just playing around (which I mention explicitly before I get someone insulting me about us joking), it is nice to see where you've been at spending wise this whole time. $100 over the past two years is a pretty low number to have managed to dominate the Krisk tourney the way you did.

Couldn't agree more on NM and UNM. Pushing to the top of CB rewards is the engine by which you power the rest of your gameplay. Everything gets easier after that. So much easier. The first year of playing was such a struggle compared to now.... lol

Let me also point out, for a goof while I purchased the daily gem packs RELIGOUSLY.  

its the only good value in the game, but if you wait till you need gems you will end up spending $100 for the mountain, which I have done in the past.  But my experience was, buy th monthly/daily as they become available ($10/month) and you'll have more gems then you need.

Thi is a PSA, if you spend anything get that $10/30 day gem pack and renew it as soon as it's available.

Or, y'know ... if you just don't spend on ... anything, and have 20k gems accumulated >_>

I stopped buying the $10 monthly gem packs in Jun 2021. I tealized I had more than I could reasonably spend in day to day play.  When Krisk came around I had like 32k.  You can search forums to see what I represented at that time.  Since then, $40. 

I think at the time it was just a matter of not wanting to run out of energy while playing, and realizing I could 4x as many gems on the daily  drops as the mountain.

We try and be low key, and take off CvCs for a break sometimes, but occasionally we plan ahead to fight for one based on our upcoming matchups, and what has been going on in game.

Y'all are welcome to come visit our clan. Sure it's got Trips, but it's a pretty cool clan otherwise.

Honestly, I just hoard resources between CvC now. I want to give my clan a shot at winning whenever we can without putting too much pressure on them and I definitely don't begrudge anyone that doesn't want to yeet all the gems at Spider/CvC every 2-4 weeks.
