Not to mention Arbiter, Lydia, and Mithrala.
Of the 12 champs in my Tag Defense since Wednesday, 8 of them have been either fusions or collector champs. So champs like Brogni, Morrigaine, Arbiter, Mithrala, Lydia. All of those champs took serious effort to get F2P.... but I wanted to make progress, so what choice did I have? I wasn't gonna go demand the game lower the summit for me.
And that summit? Sheesh, there keeps being a new one. A while back it was NM and UNM. A year and a half ago it was Lydia. Then right after her it was finishing the Hard DTs. Now the Summit is more comfortably sitting in G3/G4 Tag without it being a 20 match a day fight through the weekend.... or actually comfortably sit in Classic Plat rather than sneak in at the reset.
100% I can see how Lydia would feel almost unattainable for f2p for a long while, but I was surprised at how easy Mithrala is to get, considering she's one of the best champs in the game. I was in a clan that only hit Normal, and even then, 1-2 fragments a week, even just hitting for the first chest, I was sitting on 54 fragments by the time I moved to a stronger clan.
Arbiter is also very doable with a little work, and she's a great champ. Much more than "just speed lead".

Have you gotten Drex yet? He's the major reason to play Tag early on, after that, you can sort of fall off, until you build up enough arena champs.

No my wife has him but I have 79 parts of him I buy ancent shards a Couple times a week I know not good on my part

Drex is awesome, he can help you in so much content (Spider, Fire Knight, Arena, Hydra). Get him, way better than ancient shards.

It's always easier to blame someone else for your own failure...that way, sure, you'll continue sucking - but at least you won't feel bad about it...smh

Oh I agree He's a beast i Have done stage 20 on everything had to find new ways to do it but I manage lol I'll own him in a month or two

And be aware that there is a cooldown buying fragments from Drexthar in the Tag Arena Basar.
A lot of new players collect all gold bars they would need to buy 100 fragments and then have to wait for weeks until they can get him, as you can buy only 5 fragments per day? Or 5 per week? I don't remember. Just allways buy your fragments as soon as possible.

If I'm not mis-remembering, the cap on Drex frags is 1/day.
