Its clearly the most valuable commodity... the scarcity, crappy rng and such lead you to devalue it when it makes me do those tournaments even more... you look at 750 coins as bad...lol.  the lack of patience.  750 coins is 4.5 fortress runs :)

I think we have the chicken egg problem here.

Do I devalue the awakening stuff because of the scarcity and the crappy RNG or is the whole awakening stuff placed at a higher value because it has been implemented in a way to make them scarce?

Only running or only gemming?

runningonly at the moment. I was running IT daily for the firsts weeks and gemmed on Sunday...but last week I decided that Sunday witout gems is enough. Taking the effort and ressources into consideration, I get more from Hydra than from IT which is kind of ironic..

I am also collecting gems at the moment to save for a guaranteed ancient event

I am legit looking forward to this part. Dungeon stuff is kinda meh, but this... I wish only they made it more challenging, since most of the current Arena meta are from these facions anyway. For example, "Shadowkin only" or "Epic champions only", those would've been amazing...

Yes, this is the kind of reward for which I would just completely ignore those tournaments....just plainly disappointing.

Maybe you can snag this for 500 points though? LOL

snagging would be an option....but is it really enjoyment for all players to have such kind of tournaments in which you just participate to ninjasteal some minor rewards because nobody wants to do the tournament? 

It would be enjoyment for 1-2 out of 100 players...and I think those torunaments should be better...

I for one enjoy snagging 6* Relentless when I can. 😂

The timing of this tournament being during a fusion and it being Ice Golem makes this one a tougher sell for me.

Agree, that is disappointing to see as the top milestone reward.  The faction only tournaments used to have 5 star chickens or void shards as the top reward.  5 Immortal Essences (not even Eternal ones) is a joke.  

If you are running stage 12 or above Iron twins then I believe each key has a 13% chance of netting Essences like this, so with 6 keys you usually get this daily or multiple times a week.  Having it as a top milestone in a tournament like this doesn't make sense. 

Nevermind that 5 cannot actually buy you anything of value.  If it was 20 or something then it might have potential.

I really hope the rest of the tournaments aren't like this, because I'm skipping the Ice Golem one now

I'm only doing this tournament because:

1) I can solo farm it with venom, and 

2) There are no fusion-related dungeons I need to do right now (already done spider)

So, may as well just get the free rewards with my spare energy.
