TerranAxiom it's so obvious your low down on the totem pole.  Everything you say is coming from a low level player with lack of experience of the end game.

To prove your idiocy, I said in my previous reply:

"WTF do you do now smart guy?"

you replied:

"it's "know" not "now" smart guy"

Then you signed off with:

"Comedy gold"

Yup your right about that.  Your the laugh of this entire post.  Your so f'ing stupid you can't even read right.  Take your noob ass back to your little fantasy world.  I play with HEAT squads everyday.  You don't know jack shit man.  Guys this level will shove your little shadow right up your ass LMFAO.   Do you have any clue how many jav 8 volleys it takes to take down a maxed killshot with a maxed pilot?  3 as in three as in tres or how about roman numerals III.  If you are too dumb for that stick out your hand and remove two fingers.  That's how many volleys it takes.   Do know a maxed killshot will one shot a shadow with a dash smart guy?

Nobody here has agreed with ANYTHING you say.   You think your right and everybody is wrong?  Your sitting  here looking like a fool all by your lonesome.  How does it feel to be so foolish and be too dumb and proud to even know it?  Also, I love how you keep saying "get good".  Why don't you get some experience playing squads past 5500+ and then come out and talk cause right now you just sound so ignorant.

While it MAY be annoying

Its called STRATEGY and effectively using the map design to your advantage.

See heres the thing.. While im not maxed my RMs are decent enough to do good damage. You know what else gives good damage? Teaming with a Brickhouse while someone uses RM, that isnt just strategy its Teamwork.

Ive been running into MULTIPLE maxed out people, and you know what actually allows us to win against them? TEAMWORK. When i see someone as a threat, such as a maxed person or just troublesome, i try to aim for that person and i call them out so my team knows they are a threat. The end result is we usually end up winning, and if we dont then owell that is part of the game.

Fact of the matter is there will ALWAYS be someone better than you, whether its because of their level, singular ability or the abilities of that person and their team OR just plain luck.

I don't know how you can say that mortars with increased radius arent broken.

Every weapon in the game can be avoided by every other mech.  If you play strategically, there is always a way to overcome any mech, any weapon.  Except mortars.

A slower mech will be killed by mortars before they can even get to cover, if there is cover on the map.  The radius is so large that you also cant escape it, even moving at top speed.  That is a bad experience.

"Git Gud" only applies when there is a way to avoid/counter.  With mortars, if you spawn anything but scouts, it's not possible. Imagine if you're playing fortnight/call of duty/whatever, and there is a weapon you can spawn with that has 100% chance to hit and kill a specific class.  Would anyone want to play that class anymore?  Of course not. It's not fun knowing that if the opponent chooses a certain weapon, there is zero chance of survival. Thats the state of mortars right now.

Actually, i can usually get a decent distance away from a strike that i either get minimal damage or no damage. The important thing is to run and try to find cover as soon as u see an attack coming and to run then FACE where the attack is landing if you cant get far enough away so that your rear doesnt get the blunt of it, which can sometimes be enough to save you.

Maxed RMs may be annoying to weaker players, but even people that use them have to be careful as they tend to be targeted a lot.

Not really any different than people have maxed out sniper weapons, but i personally dont have a problem with either, its all part of the game and strategy for each one.

Another solution would be to fix the radar in the game.

1)  Don't allow a mech to be hidden from radar when he shoots off a industrial firework 200 feet into the air.  It's a dead giveaway to their position.  Why are they still off the radar?  If you shoot, you should lose your stealth and be on the radar, PERIOD.  This gives others a chance to counter the RM wielder by sending a mech over there or a counter volley of RM's.

2)  If you havn't paid attention, red bracketed enemies only show up on your screen if the enemy is in your line of sight (LOS) or within a teammate's LOS.  Add in another check where you have to be within your teammate's LOS to have enemies targeted that it has targeted.  This will keep players from standing behind a wall, totally disconnected from his teammates, and mortar players over 2 or even 3 buildings.

Persona non grata | Mech Arena - YouTube

Since the guy who paid $ 10k for this game and has everything maximally improved is not able to win with a mortar, what should an ordinary player who goes to a tournament where the opposing team has three mortars + bodyguards and no one even leaves the starting sector?
