Nah, Balur didn't kill him. Oberon has been working for Balur all along, didn't you know? The evidence is in the game lore. The lore paints a stark picture where the sun (and associated dieties) are dead, the beacons were created to bring light back to the land, and Balur's dark hoard are gathering to crush what remains. In this bleak time, rather than rallying the lords and ladies to destroy Balur's troops, Oberon encourages us to squabble over beacons, attack each other's fortresses, and kill off each other's troops by the hundreds of thousands. That sounds more like the actions of someone who wants to weaken everyone so Balur will have an easier time winning. If our troops gained experience and grew stronger when they participate in and survive a fight, the constant fighting would make sense.Plarium not even posting any thing regarding this is rather shocking, as I have had ...decent... experience with their CS team! Lord Oberon is not even here to guide us ;(

Fantastic glitch.
Because the Plarium developers are too sadistic and interventionist, their relentless intervention to the game mechanics has finally bring a total downfall to them and their work.
Why other games with the same mechanics still work?
The game mechanics has no problem.
It's just that Plarium developers like to intervene way too much and excessively that eventually a glitch/bug (or more) in an update caused everything to crash completely.
hello all i lucien which many of you know me in this game i am marshal of the fellowship (fol) leagues i hope i can speak for the old timers on this game we have seen many changes, from the days of troop loss without food to where we paid for saphs strait up no extras no nothing when pvp was once a week not every dam day ,we have all lost millions of offence and def which we have busted out are atm cards to many times we have paid for leagues names and pay for teamspeaks to futher the gaming exp for plarium even more , look plarium we don't want every boost know to man kind warp or whatever youll think of next we want a game that works and is consistent don't post beacons are dropping knowing half the world will be up all night and waiting, then post some new extravagant thing will happen on this date or that date and it don't happen you loose you credit with us how can i trust you with my CC info if i can't even get the things we have no control over to work right that's on you plarium.
ps : when i seen player's like ,king d ,the mad king,nobody, jesus christ , relic , rohan, and many more leave this game at least they got to go on there own terms i now see friends of mine wanting to leave the game (trevor) and im sure more will pop up as they days grow on they can't even leave on there own terms, (cant even log to quit) wow lol but anyways to all my friends and frenemies,we deserve better remember no atm card no employee bonuses lol just saying !!!

The three biggest issues with the down time:
1) Daily log in - depending on how long it takes you to fix, many players will miss out and will have to start over at day 1. Highly unfair when you trapped us out of the game.
2) Tournaments - pretty sure the beacon tournament with unique reward ends tonight and with nobody able to log in, that is an easy win for whoever was in lead when servers went down. Since downtime was not announced, this is a highly unfair advantage.
3) Troops trapped in open - Since server went down with no warning, people were playing the game when it crashed. Raids in progress, bgs being done, etc. That's a lot of troops that we cannot log in to cata. When server comes back up, you'd better believe opportunists will be out looking for troops caught in the open for easy points.

A lot of the gripes seem to be something every game has when there is an unexpected downtime. Try not to take it personally.
Myself, I'm glad that Plarium is starting on this trend of attempting improvement in customer relations, and I'm glad you guys (the community team) are the ones pushing for its beginning!

The reason we are unhappy with the compensation packs is because the compensation packs are always of such low value that we are insulted by them.
They don't really do anything for us but plarium acts like they are being so nice.
It's like sitting in a restaurant waiting for your food to arrive for 2 hours and the restaurant manager comes over and gives your a few pennies to compensate us for our wait time. what are we going to do with a nickel worth of pennies. we find this insualting either give of something decent or dont give us anything at all.

because 90% of the players want to quit this game and bad attitudes like this is why.
This is just my opinion, and I speak for myself only. Yes, I'd rather not receiving any compensation at all. For me those resources gift is an insult. I lost 250k of possible resources from raiding. If there is decline button I'll press that button, the only reason I press accept is because that green icon is bothering me.

Your limits are as easy as ABC. Just type some line of coding to the program to give some great packs will do well.
You can't choose not to compensate us, or else the dissatisfaction will remain and that will affect Plarium's bottom line.
