I don't want it for the reason that Sir Paul mentioned.   Coalition Hammers from mulitiple leagues.

The Coalition Chat will be available for all players except for Neophytes.

As for the other purposes, the main one is comfortable UI that with the help of Logo and Coalition TAG allows you to show to what Coalition you belong to.

As for the in-game mechanics' advantages, you're right, there are none of them.

Will it be built on further to allow for something more down the line? like combined coalition (btw, alliance sounds much better imho). attacks, help defend/stack forts and beacons that belong to the members of the coalition, even do joint coalition attacks?

I sure hope not.

The Coalition banner has NO VALUE to the game.

Dose not change how leagues interact with in a Coalition.

No difference then "Allie" 

Like I said this change was rolled out to All games. face book, Planetarium at the same time.  This was meant for facebook.  ( And not for "us" who play plarium games)  

Thar are Less then 40 leagues on this server 

 All of the leagues are connected to  one of 2 sides or neutral to both.  

(And I am not talking about face book servers. none of us give a hoot about facebook here. Games are not played the say way.  Other wise put the Rebels on Face book Server 1 and remove the beacon force limit. Every one here knows EXACTLY what I am talking about.  Heck I have Players that are apposing Rebels would want in Rebels for that Culling  )

From what I can see (or understand), it just add visibility to who is under what banner. Doesn't change much at all. If you know a,b,c and d is sharing bed....  brand them with a sticker to make it official, doesn't change much at all. 

People who like pvp, doesn't really like to build much sand castles, they like to knock them over. So if one side become to strong, and there is no real challenge left or pvp to be had....  things will just start to crumble and break apart from the inside. Factions will splinter, new powers rise, old ones fall and so forth. Its the nature of the beast called pvp.

If all there is to queue units and throw them in the catacombs on a day to day basis, that is not what drive pvp players to play a game.

Something added that is not expected. Much Like Spirit Wardens be for Stoneheart castles.

My real thoughts about this is more to the Current ranking system is meaning less now for leagues.  It give a new Meaning less Ranking system for people to cheer about a their "Coalition" rank

Now I am by no means talking down to any leagues that are in a Coalition.  I feel this was implemented on face book today as well and most of the leagues there have a Coalition.

Just for us on server 1. The word has completely a different Meaning, Time, Place, & People to Defined it.

I don't believe it either. But according to some moderators of the facebook forum, they say that it is the same. Here they still don't respond, but I suppose it will be something similar. And if so, I feel it would be the biggest mistake in this game. That update the "Super League" was very interesting and could help revive this game. But hey, you know very well that Plarium only wants more money giving little in return.

And so begins the end game....................
