bots have had no negative effect on my play, i cannot see a difference in any play towards me due to players purchasing from gold farmers.  the only negative effects in any play towards me are from plarium mtx and alts.  unless the coiners with alts are also buying from gold farmers then there has been no negative effect in any play towards me due to the bots.  since i have not seen any negative effects in any play towards me i thought that they were content from plarium to supplement resources.

buy resources,  no effect, no difference in my game.  plarium mtx does the same.

extra scrolls, no effect, no difference in my game.  plarium mtx does the same.

attacked by 10m offense or more, no effect, no difference in my game. unless you are stating that the 150 to 200 of each legendary is being printed by gold farmers and sold to players that i thought were coiners.  plarium mtx coiners that is.

i have no interest in beacons, no effect, no difference in my game.

10m defense or more on a castle, no effect, no difference in my game due to alts.

free resources?  those resources cost me 3 hrs per day in the limited irl resources of time, focus, energy and effort.  however they do give me a chance to play the game my way with as little human contact as possible.

the only difference is whether the money is spent on plarium or an outside source.  a company should be the one to make money from their product.  not hackers.  that is the only argument.

a company should also offer value in their true product.  all i'm saying.

Lets say... your neighbour castle, hire services from the bots. He get super boosted with resources, scrolls, units,,,, then he focus on you... what does that not effect you? Like it or not we play in a sandbox. There is ripple effects, its ludacris of you to think these doesn't affect you one way or the other, because it does.

Like one bot create a small ripple, many bots create a lot of ripples. It's silly to argue with someone that doesn't care or can't see what harm it does in the bigger picture because they so selfish and feeling entitled.

again i have seen the effects of gold farmers in other games, and i simply cannot see an effect in this one.

Say what?

You can buy resources shipped to your door daily for a week for a few bucks, have your warehouse filled daily. Not a problem?

Get extra scrolls not a problem?

Hire units to boost your results in tournaments not a problem?

Hire units to act as fooder taking becons not a problem?

+ other stuff....

and this is not a problem as long as you get your free resources... right?

geeze.

Without wish to support any side of this conversation only one (or two) things are important

bots and alts are not defined in this game

So, they are illegal or even forbidden, and while this game has such rules they should be eliminated on any way.

I have nothing against the bots. Make them publicly defined, announce their seeding (as beacons), fill them with anything (orcs or regular troops) or nothing, but they have to be defined and equally positioned on the board.

On the other hand, I want opportunity to have several castles, to build something, to plan anything what I could with them. Again, regular. Not on this way where half players have owner built or inherited from former mates and friends.

In the future Plarium could to change any of these rules as it did so many times in the past with other elements of the game.

But currently, this is a Plarium's shame. Dirty exploitation and acceptance of the situation as it is, with the possibility that every wrongdoer can be punished by allowing him to spend money or killing alt account when it is convenient for Plarium.

Dirty and shameful.

yes drogar these are my points, there are those of us that want to build for the sake of building, we also want pve opportunities.  pve plus an opportunity to build an empire is what many want,  including many castles that quit after the first weekend.  a personal empire, not just league empires.  and to do so with game resources. "including the walls to those castles".
ultimately the bot castles would need to be deleted.  and plarium would need to develop new content.
@gadheras
the bot castles are beneficial as content for players.  as to the harm they may inflict in the game, i have not visibly seen it.  what i have seen is plarium mtx and alts by high ranking players.  i have not come into contact with players who have gained an advantage by purchasing from gold farmers.  either players who purchase from gold farmers purchase such small amounts from gold farmers that i don't see it compared to coiners or the ones who purchase are the coiners.
again i have seen the effects of gold farmers in other games, and i simply cannot see an effect in this one.

i do get it.  i am speaking of future gameplay.  and possible future population. everything i have stated i still stand by.  alts are also illegal, as i mentioned in another thread.  the alts are those of high level respected coin players.  do these not hurt the game more than bots?  since they are the population and not just gold farmers?

i do understand.  i know the game that plarium got the idea to put 250m players number out there.  in that game they did have 10's of millions of bots. they also have players with 100's of alts that feed their mains.  i understand inflated #'s.

i am not arguing with you.  other than that the current model is severely flawed and that players voicing their opinion on what they want from a game shouldn't be harassed for it.

i understand bots were not intended as part of the game by the "developers".  the bot castles happened to be a benefit in the game for real players despite the lack of valuable content by the "developers".

i do see and understand both sides.

bots are not beneficial for anyone. Just because you can benefit from the resources you get from them, the drawbacks with all the other issues around them is more severe than any benefit you can get.

As for alts, yes. that is also a problem. It's well known in the community a lot of players is sitting on a large amounts of alts. If you banned all these players and their alts, you would see a lot of leagues in the game crumble and get wrecked, losing leadership and so on. Plarium doesn't have the guts to deal with alts, they could just as well make it legal to have.

we mentioned this in another thread.  it isn't about exploiting illegal activities.  it is about lack of valuable content within gameplay.  brothers are playing the game. "not anti social like me"  they may even want to invite friends to the game as well.  building the population of the game.

i don't understand attacking other players who have an issue with the game, just because it is not your issue.  rather would it do more good to have a united front against the entire lack of gain through actual gameplay that exists through the current model?

sure the current model caters to about 500 coiners.  and plarium can say "can't please everyone so why not just please the 500 worthy players".

by there numbers, not mine, 250 million potential customers created accounts on their game.  these customers were looking for something.  they did not find it.  unlike them i made do with what existed, and a huge part of that was bot castles.  250 m unworthy players.  and for those in the game who have made do with the current model,  the message is you are who is wrong,  not the model.

500>250,000,000

Its simple, bot castles is not intended content of this game. Its plariums fault it slipped so far it has. And lack of gameplay also Plariums problem to deal with. If players not happy about a game they usually find another.

That 250 million number is bullocks. Its like say steam got x million users and when you publish a game there, you get 250 million sales. A registered user is not the same as an active one. Just check the rankings and such in this game and you get an idea ahow many active players it got. Most just turn away from this game because its so heavy into pay to win, not about lack of content.

bots is not content. They are illegal acording to Plariums rules as well, how hard is that to get? The sooner they gone the better. As someone else said, there is enough inactive castles else to raid, just use some legwork and scouting to find them. You know, play the game.
