Think im up to like 40k again and I've got quite a bit leveled out.  Curious if Chimera is planned for anytime soon.  

Live arena sucks.  Why am I as a low spender being placed against high spenders who have all these mythics etc.   I've spent only $ 10 past 3 years and yet Im pitted against 6 star awakend who I know have spend thousands of dolars.  Put people against other people based on spending not ranking.

I didn't fall to this murderous murder bot, but I didn't realize it was a Bot by picks. Thought it was an actual player until half way through the fight when I said to self, "wasn't I due a Bot?".  I banned a 6* Fabian.  They banned Marius.

I did see my first one in the wild a few days ago, was worried for a second but I think AI is so bad that if you lockout the mythicals don't change forms? At least we know Rat isn't photoshopping deep fakes lol

They will change forms sometimes, but I think not unless their form 1 skills are all on cooldown.

And yeah, the Ai on mythics is really bad.

LA which should be one of the funnest parts of the game is junk because of the matching system.

Battle power would be nice to pair up matches yet people pick their teams once they select teams so its impossible to use team power as a matching system. Unless perhaps a system was created that records the power of the last 5 teams used meaning after a person uses their favorite teams after 5 LA battles they are put into that power rank for matches. No putting 1mil power teams in with 300k power teams. 

That's a really good idea in theory,

but the problem is champ power level is a really unreliable measure, particularly since it values hp and res WAY higher than speed and crit dam.

For example, my cheshire cat is really badass, frquently 1-shots entire teams, and has a power rating of about 100k, my mikage is meh but has triple the rating.

Ya nothing more fun that being 1 shouted every single time like u used to love this game but the arena shit would be great if they'd match it up better but the way it is now it's a fuckin joke and seriously 0 fun and that's sad cuz I love pop but im not spending tons of rl cash on this mobile game

I’d like to add a perspective on Live Arena that focuses on how the mode behaves mechanically. It’s just an observation about how the system seems to work compared to how it’s presented.

Live Arena is introduced as a mode where players win through skill, through intelligent drafting, through competitive decision‑making, and through rank‑based progression. These ideas define how the mode presents itself: a place where strategy matters, where choices matter, and where players of similar standing face each other on equal footing.

In practice, however, the matchmaking behavior creates situations where these principles cannot operate. Live Arena matches players only by rank and queue availability. It does not consider account power, team power, gear quality, stat thresholds, or roster depth. As a result, two players in the same rank can enter a match with completely different statistical baselines. This is not theoretical; it is directly observable in‑game. A low‑power account can be matched against an opponent whose champions have significantly higher speed, accuracy, resistance, health, defense, or damage. When this happens, the match is effectively decided before the draft even begins.

Skill matters when both teams exist within a reasonable statistical range. Drafting matters when both sides have the capacity to execute their strategy. Competition matters when both teams can survive long enough for decisions to influence the outcome. But when the stat gap becomes too large, skill cannot function. A team that always takes the first turn because of a massive speed advantage cannot be outplayed. A team whose defensive stats place it outside the opponent’s damage thresholds cannot be out‑drafted. A team whose resistance is far beyond the opponent’s accuracy cannot be out‑maneuvered. In these cases, the match is determined by raw numbers rather than by choices.

This creates a direct contradiction between how Live Arena is advertised and how it behaves. A mode cannot be skill‑based when it regularly produces matches where skill has no room to operate. It cannot be draft‑based when the draft is irrelevant against overwhelming stat floors. It cannot be competitive when one side’s champions exist outside the other side’s mathematical reach. And it cannot be meaningfully rank‑based when rank does not reflect comparable combat capability.

The issue is not about players or frustration. It is a mechanical problem: Live Arena frequently generates battles where the statistical disparity is so large that the core elements of the mode—skill, draft, competition, and rank—cannot function as intended. When matchmaking ignores stat ranges, it undermines the very identity the mode claims to have. 

this is the worse live arena season experience ever. I am speaking as a no spender. I truly believe Plarium is doing this on purpose so it can push people to want to spend.

this is horrible tactics for a company who has kids playing this. Just as Meta is currently being fined massively right now, I hope the courts look into Plarium and sue the sht out of them.

There is no way I should be constantly fighting these opponents. Most accounts I face have Marius 6-star awaken And more. It's like me fighting players who barely are 1-keying CB Brutal.

True. Is almost impossible to get a fair and balanced system setup as there are those whales out there that have 200k power but are secretly 1mil with their bonuses and gears which don't add to power score. 

LA is just a mess. Did about 10 runs this morning and 8 out of 10 had arena scores much higher than me and season scores as well. Nothing like walking in getting your rear handed to ya just to try and get some attribute gold which is another whole disappointment. 1000 gold crests for one lvl 5 attribute is ridiculous. By the year 2060 I might have hydra attributes filled up. 

Can I see your screenshot of 10 battles?  My 10 were all within 60 season points (season is only metric that matters).  

I'd also honestly consider other areas (fw cursed city) before hydra. 

My rating is ~5K. Today I played 10 battles. All of my opponents had bigger rating. Well, maybe I'm the smallest one on the whole server, that's ok.

But why tf 4 of my opponents had higher rating than the maximum rating on this screen? I mean, having lower rating, I'm fighting stronger accounts.

I don't have enough built up one time only whimsy epics and rares to even tough cursed city yet. 

I have beaten FW normal. 

In all spent thousands on this game but about over it because of LA and plarium greed. Will take me years to get the lego books I need for all my legos and their gear rolling system is another complete joke. Will take years just yo get one decent reflex set for wixwell alone. It's like they know what you need and what you want so they give the worst possible rolls and drops. Like protectio gear they give me all crit rate crit damage sub stats when they know you need it for a buffing champ a support not a tank. They give you acc and hp for gears like slayer that is needed for tanks no c rate or crit damage. You rework with reworking tools that are not easy to comeby and go from bad stats to worse with only one chance to rework the gear that yook months or hundreds of dollars to get. They know what champs you have so they give you 4 and 6 star souls for champs you don't have hoping you'll spend tons on shards for champs you'll probably never get. It's a complete scam.
