I gave up on Live Arena; it's just not worth my time. It's bad mechanics all around and now I'm seeing 'players are gonna go to this game" youtubes, which I've been saying for months.
It's really shooting myself in the foot, but the rest of the game is fun, although i'm going to get knee-capped without area bonuses.
I just cannot justify the time spent getting dunked on by level 100's who max time every chance in a boring season.

Could try and sneak in some fights when Season isnt active to try and at least work on the area bonuses. I know for myself off season means I find a fight and insta quit cuz I cant be bothered by it for those 2 glorious weeks.
It finally happened. I lost to a Bot over the weekend. The game wouldn't let me ban the 6s Hephraak. I tried a few times and kept getting an error pop-up saying something about "trying to reconcile data"....whatever that means.

Unfortunately I've seen more numerous reports of it popping up.
In my opinion, however, it is also difficult to expect serious PvP and a balanced mode in a game that is essentially a slot machine. Either you pay or you need to be extremely lucky. Based on this premise, matchmaking is non-existent, the skill required is very low, and the fun factor is obviously minimal.
I come back every once and awhile thinking "oh, things might have changed"
currently on a mission to get back to Team Arena Silver 1, filled with Bronze 4 level 100's that I cannot even compete with
less than 20% of the matches in Live Arena are with people not level 100. My first match today was a 100 with 6 star awakened mythic and 3 legendaries. I lost another, and the third
I got almost 1 shot by a bot. and then I died. I don't see lots of newer accounts 70-80-90 in Live Arena, which really says that there's a wall, and hopefully the Plarium owners figure it out before it's crashed into.

Bot teams are just cloned player accounts. So whatever that player has for champs, blessings, and gear they're quipped with, that what the bot has.
The advantages againt a bot are:
A) you know they will always ban your first picked champ who has an aura that applies in arena.
B) they will always pick their first chosen champ with an aura that applies in Arena to be leader
C) they will always use the default AI

The last two nights, the first team I faced (a bot because I dropped three fights at the end of the previous night), the bot account was loaded. Seems Mooredrat bots are getting commonplace now?

I've started to get them with toons in 9pcs Mercurial as well.

Im thinking there has been some adjustment so the bots are more closely matched to your account level. Kruysen got a bot with 100M PP the other day on stream. Of course he was getting bots without the loss streak so could be that for him.
