Lost shields

I have recently heard of players losing their shield mysteriously. And subsequently getting zeroed. Seems to be when using 8hr shields stacked. Anyone have this happen? What was the circumstances?

Actually it was during the last forced update. I myself haven't had an issue though. Just wondering if I need to be more vigilant with my bubble

I'm hearing from more people of this happening. Emails are being pushed off. Maybe making a fuss on other social media will get the issue addressed? Like I said, it hasn't happened to me.... yet. Just wondering what I might need to know to prevent it.

Corgi: They don't care, and won't help. See above comment to Silver Fox.

Basically, I was told if I wasn't happy, I wouldn't be missed.

Our clan has lost at least 10 shields in last 2 weeks, it happens any time, but always a 8 hr shield is involved, either alone or in combo with other 8 hr or 24 hr or 3 day shields


we have also had 5 players QUIT this game because support would not help and gave no compensation


I myself will not be buying any more packs and have submitted a complaint to PayPal for "purchase not meeting stated duration of service"

Thank you everyone for the feedback. I've not had it happen to my account personally, but I can imagine the frustration. Usually when a clanmate messes up monitoring their shield, they are honest about it. The issue seems to be around game updates? From what I've gotten from most players I've spoken with atleast. 

The only solution is to send a ticket to support. Meanwhile rebuild. I wouldn't quit, limit my spending on packs mostly. It's just about summer anyway. There's to much real life to live. Come back on beast mode in August or September 😃

Have you sent a ticket in to support? If they look into it, and itemize the actions, can you post it on here please?

Faith: I also had this happen to my main account in Lirkmarren (k391) in the last KVK match. I stacked enough 8 hour shields to last 1 day, 8 hours. I noticed the game was acting extremely slowly, and causing people to crash as the round had started only hours before. So after I shielded, I logged out to head to bed for the night. Woke up to find out I had been zeroed after applying the shields. 


Let's just say I wasn't very happy with losing 50m inf plus my personal resources due to what was clearly a game glitch, and not player negligence. I contacted Plarium, who recognized and apologized for the server instability but said the resources and troops could not be replaced. I like my clan mates enough not to quit, and am in the process of rebuilding- however, I won't spend cash to rebuild the troops or recover the rss. Or to build them after this. At the suggestion of one of my clan mates, I also created a folder in my screenshots containing the shield duration after shielding if I need to log off, as well as the current troop levels and resource amounts. If the game glitches again and Plarium still refuses to act to fix the error on their part after I send in those screenshots, I won't be playing (or spending) again.

I’m in the same clan as IEGIL, this is clearly a glitch/bug issue. I had been attacked showing I had 2days left on my shield. Currently I had sent pics and emails to plarium. NOW IN RESULTS TO THE ISSUE, THEY HAVE CURRENTLY ERASED THE MOST CURRENT 3 WEEKS SURROUNDING THE ISSUE FROM JULY 14 11:30 am BACK 3 WKS.......COVER UP ACTIONS!!!!!

I have experienced 4 shield failures in the past 10 months playing this game. On top of this current issue, the multiple double charging that happens when purchasing packages.

I have been attacked several times when this has happened. Last episode was yesterday. I'm quitting the game if support doesn't do something about this. Why should I spend any money on the game just to see a bug wipe out everything ???

All my troops were in my city. I had enabled a 24 hr. Shield. I noticed that would probably not be enough time. So then I added a 8hr shield.  I had been gone about 30 hrs when I returned to the game. Only to find I was decimated.

The cause of this problem is known as "Stacking 8hr" issue. Stacking the 8hr shield with any other shield can cause shield failure...

I agree with CIM. At random I'll have to click on shield icon TWICE after sending an attack. Though it's not similar to the stacking issue, it does verify that sometimes the shield click doesn't register...

I tend to think it is more that someone activates a shield but the game doesn't register the activation (I have had this happen) and the person does not notice that their activation did not register (they didn't check) and so they log off thinking they activated a shield but it never registered.  It is necessary to confirm that when you activate a shield that it actually is activated.
