Heya guys im thinking about setting up a town for scout/OS def is lynx gear the way to go or do i make a choice over protection for scouts or troops and use their gear

It seems to me that trapping is tough unless you are a 100 bill type. In which case I think 1 troop with sh gear is best. Use a bunch of scouts to overwhelm opponents. Concentrate on reducers and scout as well as main troop knowledge which includes valkeries improvement.
I gave up on trapping. The power continuum is too great and I am not even close to a big dog.
