Hello. I just noticed that some Invaders lair have grey teeth icon and red. Almost all red icon lairs have somebody inside, captured. Other question, why all this captured lairs owners are shields on their towns? I have proofs in screens, not sure if this bug.... I think maybe I missed some info about lairs? Lairs are just another source of resources and can be captured by anyone at anytime.
The shield is a domain guard which can be used to protect any troops farming rss.
If your town is shielded and the rss or lair you want is already being farmed you can not attack it without losing your shield.The lair will have just been taken by another troop.
In the watchtower you see available resources/lairs. If the resource/lair is taken while you are looking at the watchtower screen it will not show as taken but when you try to capture it you get the warning about losing your shield.
If you refresh the watchtower screen the resource/lair will now show as being already captured.
Sometimes you can send troops to capture a resource/lair but it will be captured just before you arrive. If this happens then your troops are turned around and you get a report saying unable to complete action.
As WDYWTNTF says, you can't guarantee legendary material from a level 6 resource, it is just more likely.
You have a slightly higher chance if you can farm an Uber invaders lair and an even higher chance if you can farm level 7 resources.
I find the best way is sustained attacks on level 6 invaders. You will need a lot of energy as they take a lot of hits but you will get a lot of better materials.
