This is a familar event.

You say you validated it.

#1 Do you mean you checked before starting the training?

# You were logged in, and saw the training complete before the CvC finished?

If not ,this might explain why the points were not counted.

Another possible explanation being, it was too close to the end for it to count.

Ivar has explained this many times.

Though on other rarer occasions  no reaonable explanation seems to fit.

Also, please note that the result that you see immediately after the end of the Competition may change, since it may not take into account the actions taken by the players at the end of the Event. This situation is due to the fact that the information in the Competition rating is updated at regular intervals. After a while, the system will perform all calculations, so the result may change. We recommend that you check the results and awards a few hours after the end of the Event.
Remember that the system takes into account only those actions that the players performed during the active phase of the Competition. It is impossible to receive points immediately after the completion of the Event.

When I talk about checking, I mean that I checked that my training ends during the active phase so that the points are taken into account in my CVC on the training line. The training I had started ended well during the active phase so I should have scored in my CVC but nothing was taken into account and I never had any problems until now. I talked about it today with a friend who also plays and she had exactly the same misfortune as me, so I sincerely think that this is not normal.

Perhaps neither I, nor Ivar, made it clear.

It's not just the active phase of the competition that is important.

You have to physically log in to the game after the training has finished. 

There is no logging out and going to bed, or work, or whatever and expecting the points to count.

Nor is there any 'I was logged in playing another account,'  that doesnt work either.

In any case, though it might not be against the rules, it's a pretty mean way of winning or loosing  a CvC, which is why a variation of it, was so complained about previously.

If this doesn't fit the facts,as I wrote previously, sometimes there is no obvious explanation.

The game has many areas where rounding issues matter, some of these have been addressed.

I have a suspicion, that the failure to record training points may be one of them.

Us people where CvC ends in the middle of the night ... we have to be logged in (and up) for many of our points to count ... it did not used to be like that but for awhile that is how it is ... it would be nice if they rotated end times so that everyone could be online sometimes at end of CvC ...

I and many others have been asking for a rotation of start times for over 4 years, so i don't think they will do anything about it. Same thing with Holmgang, wake up in the early hours to try and get a time slot. Don't get a slot that often as only 500 places per level. 

Our specialists are aware of this request, welsh/scot, and are studying the issue.

It would be good to go back to the past where you did not have to be logged in to have your training and upgrades count for cvc even if you are not logged in at end of cvc.  From what I can tell it then takes longer to determine the winner but that is ok with me ...

The only problem with that was that players logged on, started  troop training did nothing else and won.

Of course I am unale to say if that's not possile under the new format.

Or under the last  format, they would do nothing until as late as possible  then just do enough to win.
