I don’t even remember pushing on nz$ but I’m in Australia and i don’t want to pay the extra dollar.

I dont even recall if there was such an option.I suppose only the admin team are likely to know the answer.
I understand the annoyance of having to seemingly pay extra for the same thing as It happens in other areas in the world as well.

Currency is based on IP. You can get change your IP via various means and your currency will change. If its on Facebook, you can change it via there.
