This is wide away from being real...  

Yeah I was thinking the same thing and I had 2x 24 hour builders that was not a full 24 hrs. The first one I noticed it expired early although not sure by how much so the 2nd one I took noticed of and it ended up being only 16 hrs and not 24.

It can take some time to figure out  how to post pics, but its just like an email , if you have them on your device, you just add them as a file.

Its the 7th icon  above where you type,it reads  insert image  URL, or upload image.

By writing here you should have alerted them to your situation, if you get a satisfactory resolution is another thing all together.

First, as often has been mentioned, are you sure there was a shield in place?  Though it ought to, clicking something once doesnt always mean that the game has responded.

As there doesnt appear to be a 5day shield,I have to assume it means you had to click  one  five times. and surely at least one of the clicks should have activated the shield.

If you meant a 7 day shield, you are back to one click and the shield may not have been activated.

2. Provide us with the screenshot of the Battle report of the first attack on your Town. Please note that the date and time of the attack should be clearly visible on the screenshot.

There is a known glitch when players use 3 day shields, it goes back years, and based on what you write i suppose it newer been fixed. We had a player in our kingdom who could trick it regular if trying, others tried too, but could not.  

Don´t be to hard on support they likely don´t know or been told that no such glitch exsist.

If i recall correctly, what might trick it  has to do with rss boosts in town from clan store running out under a 3 day shield, that might take down the shield for some unfortunent individuals.

The player who could make it happen also gave the solution to the problem, and that was, newer to let a 3 day shield be the last shield added. So after adding a 3 day shield add an 8 hours and you should be safe.
