Don't they disappear as one types week comes to and end and shortly afterwards they are replaced by the next one in the rotation? I'm sure by the end of cvc a different uber invader is there compared to the start.

They do try to stagger the events and changes to make sure any time advantage is minimalized, however there is still a problem for players who use the browser, such that there is a delay in the new stock appearing to replace the old, such that , there may be no Ubers and only one invader or ghost  available for quite a while, which can be a big disadvantage to those that cant see them against those who can.
