No idea if this changed with the last update, but I am sure that they have been seen by some in the bank recently.

Also they can be won in some competitions. 

Maybe your luck has changed if you are not winning them now, if its not connected to your position in the leagues.

In fact I have just won some  totems in the influence increasing competition.

I have been investigating and......

 You might not be getting the totems because they are not available to be won by everyone. 

Totems are not shown in the list of rewards in the competition in another clan I play in.

So unless things  are as they were previously for you, when you were getting totems, i.e.you haven't moved clans or changed to a lower league, the only other explanation woud be .

Why how the game operates sucks and how it continues to get suckier.  

If your town is too high you will not get them in personal events and if your clan is too high you won't get them in clan events.  Some people have joined smaller clans or made their own so they could get totems again.

I'm lvl 31 and still cannot find them ???

At level 31 I THINK is when you stop getting them in personal events ... instead you are getting gold nuggets (and maybe something else) ... and your clan must be too high influence to get them in clan events.

you can 10/10 defence, attack reducers & your troop type without maxing the other upgrades above. cherry pick what you need, you can just use gold for lvl 6+ upgrades. its not alot needed compaired to how hard it is to get totems. 

This we can call Bug of game... Hope Plarium will fix this nonsense... 😎
