You are not the first to do this ... and I never seen where plarium "fixed it" ... we had someone join our clan for awhile when he mistakenly did this ... he was with us until he moved to where he intended to go ...

You are not stuck there for 4 weeks. You are stuck there forever (or until you get drakkar(s)).

If it is a new account just forget it, start another account and move it to the right kingdom.

Its not always possible to tell from a post if the player is a new player or not.

I would agree that abandoning a new town is better than doing a fast track to Palace 21 and jumping after collecting the required number of drakkars.

The fly in the ointment of doing this is, if this player already invested real money in the present town.

Everything of this is INDIVIDUAL things...Don't JUMP wihout some recommand from somebody friends.
