For whom, exactly, was the old method of adding energy a significant problem?
I don't see how forcing people to apply 5,000,000 energy to a hero or shaman makes things "easier", but if it does so, I imagine it is helpful for very few people and in very few circumstances.
First, the previous method of selecting and apply energy only took a few seconds, so I don't see significant time savings.
Second, if someone doesn't want to apply 5,000,000 energy at once, then the new method has done the opposite of making things easier because it prevents people from doing what they wish to accomplish. For someone that has invested in equipment and gems for recharging hero's energy, applying more than a few thousand energy at once makes such equipment useless.
Third, as the original poster noted, a player could be forced to apply all shaman energy to a single shaman, rather than judiciously applying energy to each shaman as needed.
Thus, for many players, this change does quite the opposite of what Plarium states; adding a desired energy amount has become MUCH harder, not easier.
if you wish to add less than the 5M hero energy/sharman power, instead of adding it from the window that you attack the invader/ghost from, add the power from your "my items" list, that way still allows you to add as much or as little as you like, yes it is a bit slower to do but it can still be done.
