Total points not adding up

This is a problem during every Clan event, but most noticeable during CvC... Our clan total does not add up or update frequent enough to benefit our clan. The worst of it is that for certain tasks (possibly all of them) you need to be online to receive your rewards and points. We've been waiting over an hour now for our new checkpoint to be registered and as of yet.. no luck. What happens if the end of a battle shows the enemy winning by a hair and us as having 2 billion less points than we actually earn? Will it register our win or call it a loss? What else are we losing out on, besides the obvious checkpoint rewards, when these events don't update the points total with any consistency?

I never experienced that you have to be online to receive checkpoints. If you are talking about at the top where it shows where each clan is at in the competition ... that only gets upgraded every hour. And the final result for the cvc is not sent out until about 25 minutes after cvc is complete ... at that time the winner gets a notice (it would be nice if the loser also got a notice) and the event will then show the final score. So when your final score matches the event final score then you know it has been updated (losers have to use this as the determiner that they lost).

Always push at the end, as 99% of the clans we've opposed (and us as well) do so. Usually adding to the score with high tier troop training and stronghold boosts.

There may be a delay in displaying points scored in the Competition on your device. The information on your device will be updated after a while. Please note that the delay in displaying points may occur in the Clan points section. Your personal points are updated instantly after each action you perform resulting in scoring points. There is no need to worry, you will definitely be given a place in the ranking according to your points.

I KNOW that's true for troop training, but I've never experienced it with any other event.

Maybe you are meaning that you were never online during the competition ??? Then you don't get points ???

If a player is offline when the Competition ends, they will get no reward, even if all the ongoing processes have been finished by this point.

To be able to receive rewards in Clan Competitions, you need to earn at least 1 point in the Clan Competition. To earn at least 1 point you must be online when finished process you earn points in the Competition during and before the end of the Competition.

This means you can't set an upgrade a week prior and login two weeks later and see that you were rewarded even though you didn't login during the competition...I *think I get it :P

It's inconvenient, to say the least, that a player needs to hang around up to an hour after completing a task to makes sure they get their rewards. It's quite noticeable in CVC because finishing a stronghold building makes such a big impact. It's no easy task gaining enough Resources to construct and finish a Stronghold building and many people, myself included, go as far as to spend extra money and lots of hours grinding it out especially towards the end of the event. After all that effort, you expect to receive the payout for meeting a checkpoint. The delay as well as the requirement to be online to receive rewards is a big problem because the daily reset has a tendency to boot people offline. I've heard many complaints from my clan about their problems with this as well and I don't know what to tell them. I used to have them write to support but spamming support with a game-wide issue couldn't possibly be productive at this point. How can this be reconciled? Cuz right now, no matter what, it seems you're SOL with your final event rewards.

This is a perfect example of why this is such a huge problem. Everyone in a clan who has contributed should get the checkpoint rewards whether or not they are online in the end. The end of a battle, as Mee said, usually means one final checkpoint with big rewards, but 99% of people will never get those rewards even if they are online to contribute to them because the clan total doesn't update right away and the daily reset kicks them offline at the end of the event.

There is NO way that they expect players can all be logged on at the exact moment that events end. Talk about server overload :P

That's not exactly what they say, but it may as well be. They said that you must be online before the event ends to receive your checkpoint rewards and also that the clan total only updates once per hour. Because of that, your final checkpoint rewards aren't given until the event ends, as well as any other rewards you should receive. So, you must be online and pray that the server doesn't boot you out (even though you know it will) when the event ends.

I don't think that is what happens ... events do not end until 2 in the morning in Europe ... and many are not on when event ends. I think it is not being communicated very well.

If your people are not online at that time then it's unlikely you've gotten a last minute checkpoint before, or you may have also noticed the tragedy.

I keep track of everything I get and I have always gotten last minute checkpoints ... and my chief many times is not online at end and he gets them also since we do a lot of checkpoints last hour of cvc.

And your final checkpoint bonuses are given at the time they happen not when the hourly update happens or when the final calculation for the event happens.

You cannot input a boost to finish during competition without logging in after it's done and receive points. That makes sense.
