They are real ... I have been buying them regularly over the past year and a half.  They used to come every month, now it is every 2 months with even some better ones at 3 months of waiting and not buying. There are others I know who receive the same offers and buy them. 

Recently i got my mega packs and you would be surprised on their difference. Super pack of energy for me at $9.99 had 600 * 2k energy boosts but mega pack had 1.5k * 2k energy boost it was almost 1.5 time bigger than super pack but gold remain same at 545k. Tho i had 8mil gold in mega pack and 4mil gold in super pack both at $4.99. So yes it is worth waiting. 

At the moment I get Packs with 2.5k of 2k energy and something like 1.5m gold but the prices aren’t come down so I’m thinking they aren’t Mega packs yet?

That packs has passed for now it only comes in once a week or maybe week and a half but when it comes around I’ll SS it.

Ok hero energy pack is the mega/super hero energy pack which you get at 2 mo and does not get better at 3 months ... and considering the exchange rate it is comparative in cost to the euro.

The lucrative offer is the same also and it also a mega/super offer whether you wait 2 or 3 months.

I found the other  post I mentioned. 

Though this  time the complaint seemed to be about a gold pack which had  a "free" amount of gold that was nearly 1 million, which didn't seem to be a bad price to me.

In the past  the same person has complained about what I think were energy packs (will have to check that now too). 

Hence my comment elsewhere,about seeing exactly what offers people get, and judging if a complaint has merit.

I'm sure there must be a way of being more transparent, keeping the game fair, not turning it in to a money pit, causing players to spend more than they ought to, and making a decent profit.

ADDITION.

I have just checked out my current offer on energy, It has 205,000 units. 

They may have been discontinued now, but one of the first energy packs I got had more than this in just ONE of the different levels of energy units.

205,000 energy is enough  for dispatching around 85 invaders with sustained attack, giving with extreme luck, 340 invader material, at 4 per kill.

So you can see it doesn't last very long, or get me very far.

A mega pack?

Recently i got another offer which had 500 charms for this elsa the nomad along with 1mil t3 500k t4 250k t5 and 125k t6 along with 1.5mil energy for both shaman and hero also had 1000 of each task refreshers. I forgot the amount of gold but surely if in near future i get this offer again i will screenshot it and put it here as it is considered as mega packs 

I got the welcome back pack when i first signed up for vikings on my phone - so im not sure if u have to be away for that long, i think i signed up and then didnt play for 2-3 days and then came back and i had that 200 dollar pack for 9.9 dollar - 

i actually didnt buy it at first cus im noob and didnt know how good it was - so i bought 4.9 dollar goold pack and got 350k gold :D

then i see that i get 3.4 million gold in the mega pack and 4 x 500 charms and 15k x 250.000k res :D and ofc i bought it - now im hooked and waiting for another mega pack so i can get some more gold :D

Maybe you are right, but could it be because the secret is no longer a secret with all the publicity on here.
