I have the 'Destroy Troops' mission currently, and after getting it I killed a lot of troops that attacked a tapsite I was holding... and it apparently didn't count at all for the mission. Is that how it's supposed to work? If so, that kinda makes it harder to do on a person who's mostly focused on building defense for emitters...Did you click the "go" button to start the mission? I believe it doesn't count damage done until you've actually started the mission, even though the timer is counting down.
Yeah, I did start it... not the first time that's happened with the destroy troops one either.
Raid missions though will actually give credit even if you haven't clicked on it before, I've clicked one right after a raid to complete it, and have the next one be another raid mission that gives me credit when the next raid hits (they're often less than 30 seconds apart) even without clicking on it to start it.
*shrug* oh well...
