There are 5 ranks in every Order:

V - Master

IV - Counsellor

III - Marshal

II - Warrior

I - Recruit

Recruits, Warriors and Marshals of an Order have access to the Order's standard functions.

Counsellors and the Master of an Order have more permissions. In addition to the standard functions they can also:

1. Delete messages on the Order Wall
2. Send Lords invitations to join their Order
3. Procure items for the Order Store (for Order Points)
4. Change ranks of Order members (Counsellors can grant or remove the rank of a Marshal, Warrior or Recruit, but only the Master of an Order can grant or remove the rank of a Counsellor)
5. Banish members from an Order

Moreover, some special functions in the Management tab are available for the Master and Counsellors of an Order.

There can be only one Lord with Master rank in an Order. Usually this is the Lord who created the Order or the Lord who was given this rank by the creator. The Master has access to all functions including the right to disband an Order or appoint another member as new Master of the Order. Moreover, only the Master can add chapters to the Code, edit or delete them.

But I do not see difference between Marshal and Warrior. They have totally the same function. It's interesting why do we have 5 ranks instead of 4 ranks?
