Tales passed down through the ages speak of mysterious Beacons full of Sapphires strewn across Darkshine. According to those tales, mages of old learned how to harness the power of Beacons and produce Sapphires inside of them. In recent years, those tales have been seen as nothing more than legend. Those who believed them were mocked and ridiculed.

One infamous believer – an elder wizard - left Oberon’s Keep decades ago, promising to return to Lord Oberon with knowledge of Sapphire Beacons.

That was decades ago, and no sign of the wizard has been recorded since. Until now.

If the reports are to be believed, the wizard is making his way back to Oberon’s Keep. Due to arrive in early November, the rumor mill is running at full speed. Will his return bring great promise, or great disappointment?
