I think we should recieve the resources gathered at hamlets we attack. I mean we go all three way there and kill their troops, why not take what they gathered?

You need to spend some time on a Hamlet to gather Resources. You can't just grab all those Defensive Units with the Resources they've gathered and take them to your Castle. that would be weird.
