Is this strictly experience that counts towards leveling up your character? Or is it also used towards calculating points accumulated for tournament rewards?

Combat experience scroll is strictly for extra experience gain Sir Blargyman.
No scrolls or boosts exists that would increase the bonus tournament points gained :)
