When using the multiple boosts feature for a farm needing 14 days and 17 hours, I selected 14 days and hit apply. Nothing happened including a little spinning circle or anything. So I hit apply again. Suddenly it refreshed - farm was upgraded, but 28 days were gone. It didn't warn me I was over boosting, and ask if I was sure as usual. It just took 14 extra days. Nice.
