There are no magical hacks for this game. Even bot programs can't do anything besides regular activity that is limited by the game client opportunities.

So either someone has a Spy among your friends, or it's just a coincidence.

Check your allies list.  If he's on it he may be able to see all of your reports. 

Of course it could always be he just got really lucky.

you've answered that question by yourself.

While Player A is having defense units in Player B castle he is receiving defense reports in case of an attack since his own troops are involved in that scenario. Not all of the reports as some of my colleagues said.

I presume that after a successful  attack Player A recalled his defense (to enable spying) and send some spies to see how much defense remained at Player B.

Therefore, its only bad choice of in game friends nothing else.
