Since you put in the new league help feature, the re-designed active box in the embassy does not give the option to send a friend request to new members or for them to FR us.  Has this been moved to elsewhere ?

I am not sure what you mean. However, if you go to Embassy, warrior, find warrior name and click on coordinates there, you can either click on green button under their castle or go inside the castle and click on their picture and add friend.
