Is a known issue since last update. you send troops to an occupied hamlet but in the moment to arrive if the hamlet is empty ur troops returns automatcly to ur catacombs and no report appear. Devs are aware of this issue and working on it.

Exactly my lord only with Attack
if send conquer you have to send offensive and deffensive. if conquer success defensive stays on hamlet and offensive come back to ur keep.
