I was thinking about how differently most of us play now compared to our first few weeks in Sparta, and I’m curious what everyone’s biggest beginner mistake was. Did you rush your city upgrades, train the wrong troops, ignore defense, spend drachmas too early, or join a weak coalition?

Looking back, what would you do differently if you had to start a brand-new account today? I think this could be useful for newer players who are trying to avoid the common traps that aren’t always obvious at the beginning.

For me, I underestimated how important long-term resource management and coalition support were. I focused too much on expanding quickly instead of building a stable economy first.
